Luffy's power

Hey guys, I've been wondering this for a while now (I'm really bored and can't do anything atm because I have a cold),


Do you think Luffy and his crew are anywhere near, let's say Whitebeard's crew(only commanders) in power?
Well, I don't. I can't picture Luffy fighting on a par with Whitebeard or Sakazuki for now.


So am I the only one here who thinks Luffy and he's crew have to get a power-up?
If you have any ideas about that, I'd be glad to hear them .

i don't know, luffy always seems to beat people way over his current level, but i would like to see some more power ups from the crew, especially zoro, maybe a special eye behind his scar? that would be interesting
