Luffy vs Natsu

Alright, so Axle threw a baseless statement at me, saying Natsu can beat Luffy.

So let's discuss.
(Time Skip Luffy vs Up to date manga Natsu).

If you haven't read both mangas up to date, don't even bother replying.


So basically, Natsu ain't got anything on Luffy.
Luffy speed is far too superior to Natsu, and on top of that, Luffy knows every attack Natsu throws at him through the usage of Color of Observation Haki.
So Luffy can dodge ANY attack Natsu throws at him.


Luffys strength and attack speed is far superior as well, and through the usage of Color of Armaments haki, he can send Natsu flying miles away.
And if Natsu was to hit Luffy, Luffy would just use Color of Armaments haki to protect himself from the fire, and physical attacks do no damage to Luffy anyway.

You say Natsu has fire attacks, well Luffy can dodge any attack Natsu throws at him, because he has the speed, and he knows before it even happens.

Luffy defeated Gekko Moriah with 1000 shadows pre-timeskip, he'd do it easily after time skip. I'd like to see Natsu do the same thing.

And I didn't even mention Luffys Conquerors Haki, which he used to knock out 50 000 merman without even blinking his eyes. (Mermen are 10 times stronger than normal humans).

Most of the Straw Hats would be able to beat Natsu to be honest. And Luffy would be able to beat almost everyone in Fairy Tail universe(maybe with the exception of Zeref, but who know, we haven't seen Zeref full powers yet).

When you compare Natsu to Luffy, it's like you comparing Ton Ton(thats the small pig btw) to Madara.

And if you have read Fairy Tail up to date then you would've known that Natsu will win this fight.

Natsu always manages to beat the stronger enemy. Do you remember when we were introduced to the 7 kin and that they we're supposed to be something special. The elite in the magic world. But then Natsu came by defeated two and their master Hades.

So no matter how much stronger Luffy is Natsu has Hiro Mashima on his side and he will just erase Luffy (Literaly!)

If they would fight on Oda's terms then Luffy would kick the crap out of pink haired boys. And Natsu maybe raised by dragons. Luffy is the son of a dragon!

In the Anime (where they make all Straw Hats look drastically weaker than they really are), Luffy already beat thousands of guys that are capable of burning him. Even a guy that can reach the 10000ºC. And it's bullshit that Natsu would win because we've seen him defeat guys stronger than him, though if you're mentioning that has a sarcasm, then I agree xd. It's getting ridiculous how he's making Natsu look stronger than he is, because of the "power of friendship"...

Lets analyse this fight,
Natsu brings Fire-dragon slayer abilities, hence claw, kick, roar etc...
How would Luffy respond, dodge claw and kick with gear second (doesn't even need haki), roar, umm lets see armament or being able to predict what he is going to do... even if natsu has fire and lightning, he wouldn't be able to beat luffy pretimeskip let alone after time skip, what would natsu do without people having to bail him out everytime he fights strong opponents, luffy begins to lose to someone, he trains and gets alot stronger, natsu begins to lose, he has a friend come give him some crazy temporary ability that he cant use again, luffy wins hands down in my opinion...
