2) Gear 3 : bone exanssion
3) Gear 4 : ???

possibilities :
1) Use of hakki.
2) something just like Gear 2
3) Gear 3 will not be involved because of it slows down person.
4) we might see something monkey transformation ... reason : might be secrete technique of monkey D. bloodline.
5) most possible : Blood boil + something else

According to this chapter
gear 2nd=speed
Gear 3rd=power increase+loss of speed which creates openings.

So Gear 4th has to be something that keeps Gear 2nd's speed while also increasing Luffy's power exponentially.

I am guessing Gear 4th = 2nd+3rd or Flaming full body armaments

I really don't want more fire either since we already have Sanji. Hmm still using Gear 3rd and 2nd together was something that was almost suicide for Luffy before, one would think he'd overcome it. There was a clue at the end of the chapter saying Luffy will go past his limit so I kinda wonder what that meant

I think it's probably gear 2nd and gear 3rd together just like when he used it against CP9 previously except he probably won't have as bad drawbacks this time since it's a proper 'gear'. If not then I have no idea and I'm super excited to see what happens in 2 weeks!

Yeah I know he is, hence why o think it'll be like Luffys Red Hawk, except all the flames or fire will be releasing throughout his entire body. He'd literally be on fire but with armament Haki skin.

His opponents wouldn't be able to touch him without getting burned from touching Luffys iron skin, plus the flames could also act as a shield against opponents getting close. I think at would be awesome.

I doubt it will be a combination of gears, if it is then it isn't a proper gear, it will be something we haven't thought of.

A completely new way of using his rubber body.

I don't think it will be a speed upgrade because Doflamingo in this chapter said Luffy is fast but his punches are weak. So I think that was foreshadowing that Gear 4 will be something powerful and damaging.

I hope it will be G2 combined with G3 but in a compressed state
Kinda like SS2
SS1 was very fast. Ultra ssj vastly improved strength but lacked speed
So basically a buffed up Luffy , Like Nightmare but not so big

Gear second was fast but not good enough to put down doffy.

Gear third was well over strong enough but to slow and left luffy open.

I'm guess he'll use the same technique that he used to beat Moria or he'll follow the fire (red hawk) theme to beat doffy.

I'm guessing he covers his limbs in red hawk creating flames, making him a fire luffy.

Side note: Doffy's flashback on Crocodile, even he knows that he was really strong

Explosive bursts of air, kinda like the Pamu Pamu no Mi but on the inside, the combustion boosts his power and how far and fast he can stretch
