So, it's sort of like Gear 3rd just without the need to blow air. Instead he just moves all the rubber to one part of his body. It makes sense. I like it. There's still something missing to me though

I've seen this multiple times, but I don't understand; how is this different from the visual effects and effectiveness of Gear 2?

The main purpose of Gears is to either demonstrate how powerful the opponent is, or for eye candy... I don't see how this would be much different from Gear 2.
