You're looking too much in to it. We're talking manga physics here.

Where rubber is stretchy and diamond is hard. If you want to take this so serious maybe we should ask ourselves why Luffy has never snapped like a rubber band. Because that is the fate of rubber.

If Oda depict Jozu as a diamond man, he is saying this is a tough guy to hurt, this is one of the best defenses in the world. Brook can heal his bone injuries pretty fast by drinking a lot of milk. That is another hyperbole of a real world appliance used in the One Piece world.

We can agree to disagree but I don't think that Oda would make Jozu brittle to blunt force.
We kind of did just see him about to "snap" his arms but I know what you're saying and it took a great amount before Luffy's elasticity started to reach it's limits.

Garp is a vice Admiral, isn't he above vice Admiral level in terms of power? Think before you run your mouth.
So in your head Garp and Jozu are in the same situation. Sure. And what rank is there between Yonkou commander and Yonkou that Jozu could fill? You know like how Garp could actually be an Admiral or Fleet Admiral but Jozu couldn't be Yonkou captain?

He's just saying Jozu is stronger than the average Emperor's Commander. You're taking these ranks way too literally.

I'm not agreeing with his opinion on Jozu, but in all fairness, nothing so far says that Jozu couldn't be Yonko level.. Big Mom has been weak sauce so far, basically proving that Yonko status isn't earned on the captain's strength alone..

Give Jozu a family/crew as huge as Big Mom's and he could be probably be considered a Yonko.
