Zoro is the guy who won't let other people **** with luffy, or walk all over him. The strong between him and Luffy is too strong, for them to just break up, simply because they met their dreams. Where are they gonna go? lol.
Roger's crew split up because he turned himself in. If Luffy doesn't settle down, and continues to sail, then Zoro will stay with Luffy.
HOWEVER, I still want to see Zoro vs Luffy, that got interrupted =l. Hopefully, it does happen.
No.
When Zoro has become the strongest swordsman in the world and Luffy the Pirate King, the story is pretty much done. It's doubtful that they are going to sail till they are all 80 years old, so they would split up at some point. That's not particularly tied to only Zoro and Luffy.
Secondly Mihawk and Zoro have different personalities and their respective relationships with Shanks and Luffy are also very different. There is nothing that indicates that Mihawk was ever a member of Shank's crew, on the contrary from what we know the opposite is very likely.
Lastly that Zoro joined Luffy because at that point it seemed beneficial for his own dream only counts up to Water 7. He made that clear that he would leave if Luffy would just take Usopp back so easily. However during Thriller Bark that reality ended. In fact that whole scene with Kuma doesn't make any sense seen from the perspective of the plot. Why was it there? Oda could have easily left it out, it didn't support the plot in any kind of way, however from Zoro's perspective that scene was vital. That scene was specifically meant for Zoro's character development. On that moment he declared that there is no difference anymore in dreams between him and Luffy. Luffy's dream of becoming the Pirate King and Zoro's dream became one and the same for him. The one can not be done without the other. Zoro will see the entire journey all the way up to the end and not because of his own dream, but because of Luffy's. That became again clear when he asked Mihawk to train him. Zoro ceased being someone who joined Luffy for his own dream a long time ago.
@bold, i think that was more about him leaving, if Luffy started letting people walk all over him.
