[Discussion] Luffy and the mera mera no

What I think will happen when Luffy does get the DF he will probably eat it and somehow the fruit won't destroy his body. Just like BlackBeard he will have 2 DF powers and then he will get a greater chance to fight Blackbeard.

This is just my thoughts, what do you guys think he will do with it?

O: Ahaha, that is true. It must seem like a mystery when you consider all the other strong and cool abilities. The answer is simple. I have picked the most ridiculous ability. If the protagonist were the typical strong guy, I doubt I could continue on with this for long. No matter how serious the story gets, Luffy is there to stretch and inflate. He always give me a chance to fool around. That's the kind of manga I wanted to write.

The idea is just lame... Basically, the StrawHats are much better than to have it. If Franky who is considered weaker than Sanji prefer to be swimmer over the Df, naturally Sanji and Zoro would say the same thing.

Personally I don't want Luffy to eat 2 dfs, I like Luffy as a rubber man and a logia fruit will mess up Luffy's brawling. Reason why I want Coby to it is coz Akainu's magu magu defeated mera mera in a manner most & I have a bone to pick with and Coby that time stood against Akainu so if Coby ate the mera mera I wld get mera vs magu round 2 and Coby will be strong to say Akainu u r not fit to be FA coz u corrupt wat marines should stand for and what they are really, it will be like OP first arc with Axe-hand Morgan but this time Coby will fight on his own.

Secondly, thinking any of the other current SH's eating any DF is truly disrespecting Oda and spitting on his future grave. Since it'd be one of the most retarded shit he's ever done.

-50% Coby gets it through Fujitora giving it to Garp who then gives it to Coby.
-33% Vivi eats it.
-15% Luffy finds way (via Vegapunk) to destroy the fruit completely meaning no re-spawn.
-2% Luffy keeps it.

I still think Rebecca may consume the mera mera fruit. She has the most legit reason compared to everyone else. If Luffy eats it he'll die won't he.
