Loved or Feared?

[Decipher]

This question recently came up when I was talking with a group of friends.
As the title states, would you rather be loved or feared?

I was sort of undecided to tell you guys the truth. I mean its obvious that one would want to be loved but in my opinion wouldn't it make a person more vulnerable to be manipulated? If you are feared people wouldn't dare cross you.
