Which movie was better in your opinion, (the second part of) The Lord Of The Rings The Two Towers or (the second part of) The Hobbit The Desolation Of Smaug?

IMHO The Hobbit 2 is much inferior to The Two Towers

Well have to wait for round 3 now, a looong wait

The Two Towers is my favourite in the trilogy, but I saw The Hobbit 2 yesterday and it was really good.. so I think I'm gonna choose The Desolation of Smaug, just bcuz barrel-fighting Bombur.

oh dam it's out?? Not sure about here though. But the2towers was the best IMO out of the triology

Lotr was filmed to be a masterpiece, hobbit was filmed to make money

Definitely Two Towers, I mean the whole Helms Deep scene was great not to mention the Ents and many other aspects of the movie.

I did like The Desolation of Smaug but it wasn't epic like Two Towers.

The LOTR movies were a homage to Tolkien and generally loyal LOTR fans everywhere and were all great. The Hobbit series is a homage to the production houses. Ofc LOTR.

LOTR any day..while hobbit is the prequel to LOTR and serves the purpose of introduction of many imp characters..LOTR is better

The build up of The Two Towers especially with Helm's Deep puts it way above The Hobbit 2. I never get tired of watching it, both in the Extended Version and the original DVD release.

i didnt see the new hobbit movie but i read the book and from what i saw in trailers and what people tell me it is kinda far fetched
buttt i love the two towers and the other two lord of the rings movies
im not the hugest fan of the first hobbit movie
