Looks
Kai is a young man with a firm stature. He stands tall at 6 feet (1.8 Meters) and weighs in at about 190 pounds (86 Kilos). He has deep emerald green eyes and shaggy dark brown hair.
Kai has strong defined cheekbones that accent his lean body structure. His jawline is incredibly narrow, and he has a pointed chin. Though not the most intimidating, Kai actually has a very healthy and incredible physique, which is emphasized by his height. Standing up, he seems very slender, but with closer looks, one can see how defined his muscles really are. He has a balanced tan skin tone.
One of the most common looks that Kai would have is his bright lively smile, always giving off a friendly appearance. Even in serious situations and fights, there was always a smile that can be seen on him, and any case otherwise would signify serious issues.
Kai has a series of outfits that he possesses. His wardrobe is dependent on the occasion though. Most notably though, he seems to sport a t-shirt which is black and has a green stripe in the middle with a white 10 and green stripes on the sides of his shirt. Along with it, he wears brown cargo pants with pockets at the knees and green and white shoes.
Personality
From a young age, Kai was always quite an outgoing child, very active and curious of his surroundings. One thing that stood out among others was Jakai's natural trust in everyone. He always had the belief that others should be trusted until proven unworthy. Luckily for him, this type of thinking is what helped Kai make so many friends. Unfortunately, this trust also became an issue when he became hurt from trusting the wrong people. Stemming from his responsible nature though, Kai learned from this and has since become more careful of this and not to be so generous with his trust. Despite this however, Kai still always maintains a respectful nature with others. He always gives his best efforts when giving a first impression, and in things he works on. This stems from his belief that anything with value should be made as best as it can be.
Kai has a very fortunate mind, being very reasonable in his thinking, which helps him in both academics and other aspects of his life. It was this mature way of thinking that allows Kai too stay in control of his emotions during stressful times. He always tends to look at the bright side, but is not oblivious to the negative sides of things.
If there's one thing to notice about Kai though, is that he always seems to be doing something. In fact, he forces himself to find something to do in the case that there aren't any previously made plans. In actuality, Jakai is extremely lazy, procrastinating on work and not having enough effort to even getting up to move. It was this trait that Jakai wished to change immediately, and for that reason, Kai has forced himself to constantly train, battle, teach, and work in an active manner. Fortunately for him, Kai has showed promised in keeping his word, but has faltered every now and then.
Jakai also seems to have a a well-rounded personality. Kai's interests seem to show no bound, as he likes to indulge in a myriad of different activities and practices. For example, Kai has been extremely interested in music, and has since learned 3 instruments. He's also interested in science, visiting different scientists across NBVille to learn about new studies. He's even gotten into politics, learning about the relationship of the Earth among other foreign planets and even the general ideological differences within the Earth in regards to the roaming super heroines and villains. There is no topic or subject that Kai isn't willing to at least learn a small amount on.
It is this personality that affects Kai's interest in abilities of all kinds. Kai does have an obvious interest in learning and mastering all sorts of abilities. For this reason, Kai has a fundamental basic understanding of almost every ability known in the world, a result from his constant studying through scientist findings and traveling. This is also the reason for Kai to excitedly be interested in all of his Aliens that he uses.

Origin Story
Kai was originally a ten-year-old boy who grew up in NBVille; he was unpopular and often bullied in his school. Life was just a normal boring time as a kid, and it didn't look like it would get any better. Instead of spending time at the beach, his summer was going to be spent on a cross-country vacation with his grandfather and cousin.
A short time after they left NBVille, Kai went on a walk through the woods in which they were camping, and witnessed the crash of a strange capsule from space. This capsule happened to contain the Bio-Omnimatrix, a pair of powerful gauntlet-like devices, that firmly affixed itself onto Kai's arms. Upon trying to remove the gauntlets out of shock and fear, he accidentally activated it and saw himself transform before his very eyes into a beast with unique powers. After some time of more confusion and shock, Kai curiously found himself learning about newfound abilities only to revert back to his true form.
As excited as he was, he looked at his arms with a smile of intense thrill. And in that moment, Kai's life changed forever.

Kai began his summer going cross-country with his family, excitedly going on adventures in his new forms, learning along the way of what he could do. He would soon come to realize the device was of alien origin, crafted from the Galvans.
It was also at this time that Kai's grandfather revealed himself to be part of an intergalactic law-enforcement organization known as the Plumbers that protect the planets in the universe from various alien threats and attacks, similar to the various Lantern Corps.
Before Kai had anytime to actually use the device, it was deactivated by order of the creator and Plumbers. Until Kai had received proper training, he would not be able to utilize the Omnitrix. This was to ensure he could use it effectively and responsibly.
After learning of the responsibilities there was and how much was at stake, along with meeting the creator of the Omnitrix, Azmuth, Kai joined the Plumber Academy to discipline himself. Besides this, his main motive for joining was so that he would be able to use the Omnitrix at his digression.
For the time-being, Kai now serves as a Plumber, working his way until he can finally use the Omnitrix.

Kai is the wielder of the Biomnitrix (A.K.A. Bio-Omnimatrix), a pair of gauntlet like pieces of high-tech, which gives him the power to modify his own genetic code in order to turn into various alien creatures. Traditionally, he could only transform into a few aliens but later gains additional forms by either unlocking them or by scanning the DNA of aliens he meets.
When transforming into an alien, Ben gets all the creature's features, including its appearance, voice, all of its unique and special abilities and powers, strengths and weaknesses. Though he mostly retains his personality, there are some cases where the transformation causes change in it. Though he usually uses his alien forms to fight, he can also use his forms to impersonate aliens as a means of deception.
In addition to the transformations, the two gauntlets can be used for various other purposes. It comes with a built in Universal Translator that allows Kai to communicate with most aliens that don't speak English. There are notable exceptions with some aliens with too sophisticated of a language that makes the Biomintrix unable to translate it for some unique reason.
The most impressive and actual intended ability of the Biomnitrix is the ability to manipulate and repair genetic damage, a function used to cure mutated victims and save the weakened lifeforms from extinction. Apparently, the Biomintrix is even capable of bringing back to life any species that has its DNA stored within the Biomnitrix.
The Omnitrix also has a failsafe to help prevent Ben from dying. If Ben is in mortal danger and the Omnitrix is in recharge mode, it will automatically go into active mode.
Besides that, Kai has rudimentary combat training, and has an average physique. As a human, he does not posses any superpowers or abilities.

It's technology is considered to be the most advanced, with the technological achievements being on par with the Lantern Rings and the Mother/Father Boxes of New Genesis and Apocalypse.
Currently though, the Omnitrix is deactivated and disabled for Kai. Until he passes the judgement of the Plumber Organization and Creator of the Omnitrix, Azmuth, the device is functionally pointless.
For the time being, he uses a standard set of Plumber Gear, including a suit and various blasters and other weapons.
