Advantages:
  • 1. Is good for obtaining information.
  • 2. Has a low chakra cost and requires no handseals.
  • 3. Can be used in any terrain and made believable.
Disadvantages:
  • 1. Requires the target to be standing still.
  • 2. Target has to be 2 ranks lower than you.
  • 3. Requires physical contact and thus the jutsu can only be used in short range.
How you would use it in battle: I would only use this for interrogation purposes. In combat I don't think it has very much use.
How you would counter it: Genjutsu release or physical pain.
How you perform it: First I would trap my opponent so they couldn't move. Then I would build up chakra on the outside of my body. Next I would touch the opponent which would direct the chakra to their brain effectively triggering the genjutsu.

Genkai stares at a clone of her sensei and remebers her Suiton training. She builds up water chakra in her body and releases it into her mouth. She then focuses it by performing the handseals Ram → Tiger. Next she spits out a sticky high viscosity stream of water at the clones feet effectively immobilizing their movement.

(Suiton: Mizuame Nababara) - Water Style: Starch Syrup Capture Field
Rank: C
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user After performing the required hand seals Ram → Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few meters, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channeling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.
With the target trapped Genkai runs towards the clone. When she gets a short distance from the clone she performs a short range doton jutsu by releasing doton chakra around her arm and manipulating it into a ring of rocks. She flings the rocks at the clone.

( Doton: Iwa Rendan ) - Earth Release: Rock Barrage
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user will concentrate their chakra into their arm and then release their chakra creating a ring of rocks that are then flung at the opponent.

(Genjutsu: Jinmon) - Illusion Technique: Interrogation
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: The user of this technique, upon casting on a stationary opponent with physical contact with them, is able to convince the enemy to give away information. However, this will only work on ninja two ranks lower and below than the caster.

As the clone is defending against the rocks Genkai builds up the chakra in her feet to run on the sticky liquid. She reaches the clone who is still defending and Genkai finds an opening as she builds up more chakra in her body. She makes physical contact with the clone effectively directing the chakra to its brain and trapping them in a genjutsu. Genkai then asks the clone what the next jutsu in the training will be. The clone answers.

That was amazing. Well done. ^_^

(Genjutsu: Jigoku Gouka) - Illusion Technique: Hell Fire
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points:N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion where the opponent sees a huge ball of fire descending from the sky and enveloping its target.

Just by looking at my clone, you will place him in this genjutsu, but of course you need insert your chakra into his brain, this technique makes the clone believe they are seeing a big ball of fire coming from the sky, this technique can be used in a lot of different situations. Example, you could cast this, and then use a water technique, or something along those lines, the range is good for a low rank, and for genjutsu in general.

Thank you. =D
Advantages:
  • 1. The genjutsu has decent range.
  • 2. Requires no hand seals and has a low chakra cost.
  • 3. It can be used to trick the target into reacting a certain way,i.e. the target casts a water jutsu to put out the fire and then the caster of the genjutsu uses a earth jutsu which water is weak against.
Disadvantages:
  • 1. It's going to be pretty easy for the target to figure out their in an illusion.
  • 2. It only effects sight.
  • 3. It can be broken with relative ease.
How you would use it in battle: I don't see the illusion lasting very long so I would use it as a distraction. If I think it will work I'll use it to predict how the target is going to counteract and use it to my advantage.
How you would counter it: Genjutsu release or physical pain. I could also cause a chakra surge with a B rank jutsu or higher.
How you perform it: I would gather chakra in my body and release it through my chakra points. Then I would direct my chakra towards the targets brain trapping them in a genjutsu. Using my spiritual energy I would make the target see an illusion of a giant ball of fire descending from the sky and crushing them while being set aflame.

Genkai stands mid-range from her senpei's clone. She starts to quietly whistle "Great Balls of Fire" as she builds up chakra in her body. She releases the chakra through multiple chakra points and directs it towards the clone's brain. The chakra takes control of the chakra flow in the clone's brain and traps them in a genjutsu. Using her spiritual energy Genkai then makes the clone see a giant fire ball coming down from the sky directed at it. The clone casts a water jutsu to counter the fire.

(Doton: Ganban Kyu) - Earth Release: Bedrock Coffin
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Mid/Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the Rat hand seal, the user to control multiple sections of rock and move them around their opponent. The user then forms two gigantic sections that crush the opponent.
Upon seeing the clone perform a water jutsu Genkai performs a earth jutsu. She builds up earth chakra in her body and releases it on the outside of her body. She performs the Rat hand seal to further focus the chakra. Two rock walls rise from the earth on the clone's left and right. Genkai claps her hand together and the walls crush the clone.

You're welcome, did you see my vm?

(Genjutsu: Kasumi no Jutsu) - Illusion Technique: Mist Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates an illusionary clone that charges towards the enemy, jumps, then explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals which results in confusing the opponent and obscuring their vision, leaving them open for attack.

With this one, look at your target; thus inserting your chakra into there brain, the target will see a clone run towards them, the clone explodes in a cloud of cherry blossoms, which in the end confuse the target, I can see this being a very obvious genjutsu, personally. There is no technique besides this and a few other genjutsu techniques, that use this method. But, I guess the good thing about this technique is that it does leave them open to an attack, and the range is good.

I just saw your vm and responded to it.

Advantages:
  • 1. Would be good against dojutsu users since it completely blocks their vision.
  • 2. As you said it has good range.
  • 3. Low chakra cost with no hand seals.
Disadvantages:
  • 1. The genjutsu can't be sustained for long since the illusion will be obvious once the blossoms form.
  • 2. It is broken with relative ease.
  • 3. As is the problem with a lot of genjutsu it only affects sight.
How you would use it in battle: I would use it to create an opening or to distract an opponent. Even though this genjutsu might be easily discovered the opponent still has to take the time to break it.
How you would counter it: Physical pain or genjutsu release.
How you perform it: I would build up chakra in my body and release it through my chakra points. Then I would direct the chakra to my targets brain taking control of its chakra flow. Trapped in my genjutsu I would imagine a clone of myself forming to the side of me and use my spiritual energy to make the target see that illusion. The target would see the illusionary clone running towards them. Upon reaching the target the clone would burst into cherry blossoms blocking the opponents sight.

Genkai stares across the field at another one of her sensei's clones. She builds up chakra in her body and releases it through multiple chakra points. She then directs the chakra to the clone trapping them in a genjutsu. Genkai envisions an illusionary clone forming at her right side and sets this illusion in her targets eyes with her spiritual energy. While doing this she forms a real shadow clone on her right to coincide with the timing of the genjutsu to make it more believable. After the clones completely form the target sees the illusionary clone take off running towards it. The real clone starts running towards the target shortly after. When the illusionary clone reaches the target it explodes into cherry blossoms and blocks the vision of the target. The instant after that the real clone arrives at the target and punches it. Sensei's clone disappears.

Can you use a genjutsu and another jutsu at the same time to coordinate them?

Using any technique at the exact same time, requires the mastery of Ying-Yang release. But, you can use lets say a water technique first then pretty much straight afterwards, you can perform the genjutsu technique.

Well done. Welcome to B-ranks, now!

(Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu) Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique
Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique. However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is that of a desert and the second that of a forest, upon releasing the first one, the opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him think he dispelled the illusion while in essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.

Okay like it's parent technique; but a little different and better if used the right way. Perform the seals, with the last handseal placing my clone in the genjutsu, what's so good about this technique it's double layer genjutsu, so just think of the parent technique where it makes the target think the environment has changed; if the target breaks out of the first layer, the second one is still there, the target will think they have broken out of the gen completely but no! They still haven't, good technique over all, if you actually manage to pull it off!

Yeah! Genkai does a little dance happy to have come so far in such a short time.

Advantages:
  • 1. The main advantage is you get 2 Genjutsu for the price of one. A single genjutsu release won't work.
  • 2. Low chakra cost and decent range.
  • 3. If used correctly you can make the opponent react a certain way and use it to your advantage.
Disadvantages:
  • 1. Takes three hand seals to perform.
  • 2. The two genjutsu have to relate to each other idea wise or else it's going to be obvious the genjutsu is layered, i.e. you can't be standing on a snowing mountain and cast an illusion that your targets is on a beach and then in a desert.
  • 3. Only effect sight.
How you would use it in battle: I would use it to change distinct features about the terrain and not the entire terrain itself. I would use it for a simple distraction or to try to get my target to react a certain way.
How you would counter it: Since I can't tell that I'm trapped in 2 illusions, I could release each genjutsu with genjutsu release or low level physical pain as can be done with C-Rank genjutsu. However, I don't think I'm a fan of genjutsu release as it leaves you open to whatever attack the opponent has cast while you are in the illusion. To counter this genjutsu and others I prefer using a chakra surge so you have some defense against outside attacks. My favorite I've read about is when people form rock armor the encompasses their body. For a chakra surge you need at least a A rank elemental jutsu or a S rank pure chakra jutsu.
How you perform it: I would first note what terrain I was on. Then I would build up chakra on the outside of my body and release it through my chakra points. Directly after I would perform 3 hand seals to focus my chakra and then direct it towards my targets brain. Trapped in my genjutsu I would visualize the terrain changing and set the illusion in the targets eyes using my spiritual energy. Immediately after I would visual the terrain changing in a different way and layer that illusion on top of the first illusion. When the first illusion is released the flow of chakra in the targets brain would once again change triggering the second illusion.

Genkai stares across a grassy field at a clone of her sensei. She stands mid range from the clone. She builds up chakra in her body and releases it on the outside. Then she performs 3 handseals to focus the chakra and afterwards directs it towards the targets brain. With the clone trapped in a genjutsu Genkai first visualizes a large cyclone of wind. After that she visualizes a hawk swooping down from the sky. The clone instantly sees a cyclone of wind picking up grass, dirt, and rocks and heading straight towards it. The clone realizing that it is a genjutsu uses genjutsu release and breaks the first illusion. The clone sees Genkai in the field and starts running towards her not realizing it is still trapped in a genjutsu. Genkai grabs a kunai from her pouch and prepares to throw it. As the clone approaches Genkai it's eyes are drawn to a hawk swooping down and heading towards it. The hawk arrives in front of the clone and begins to attack it obscuring it's sight of Genkai. Genkai throws her kunai timing it so it will arrive when the illusionary hawk begins to attack the clone. The kunai hits the clone and it disappears.

Er, I'll let you borrow my sword for this next technique, hands you the simple sword.

(Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi) - Leaf Ninja Art: Willow
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.

Okay so with this one, you wave your sword back and forth, by doing this, this initiates the genjutsu, the target will believe they are seeing multiple waving arms, using this technique places the target off guard so you can cut him down, downsides about this technique, requires a sword, and the range is meh. But could be handy here and there, I've never used it so I have yet to correctly get the full potential out of this technique.

I think Better used this in his sensei exam if I'm not mistaken.

Advantages:
  • 1. The aftereffect of the illusion causes physical damage, i.e. being cut down.
  • 2. If successful this creates a quick opening to attack.
  • 3. Is easily cast while running with a sword.
Disadvantages:
  • 1. Can only be used in short range.
  • 2. It requires a sword.
  • 3. The illusion is really obvious so it could be broken before you get the chance to attack.
How you would use it in battle: As the description says if I'm using a sword I would get into close range and use it to create a quick opening.
How you would counter it: Since a person with a sword is coming at me in short range genjutsu release is not a good idea. This will leave you completely open to attack the moment you break it. I would use a jutsu that causes a chakra surge and at the same time affects the surrounding area. This would also affect my opponent so they couldn't just slash at me in the open.
How you perform it: Running with my sword I would build up chakra in my body and release it through my chakra points. I would wave my sword back and forth as I released chakra and direct it towards the targets brain. This would trap them in a genjutsu. Once trapped I would imagine multiple waving arms and set the illusion in my targets eyes with my spiritual energy. The target would see multiple waving arms resembling a willow tree blowing in the wind and be caught off guard. I would then take my sword and cut them down.

Genkai stares at another clone in short distance across the grassy field. She picks up the sword sensei has given her and holds the sword by the hilt in her right hand. Then she takes off running towards the clone and begins to wave the sword back and forth covering a 45 degree angle in front of her body. As she does this she builds up chakra in her body and directs it towards the targets brain. The targets looks at the waving sword and this triggers the genjutsu. Trapped in the genjutsu Genkai uses her spiritual energy to form an illusion in the targets eyes. The targets starts to see multiple waving arms resembling that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With this the clone is caught off guard and Genkai raises her sword in the air and slashes across it's body from her right to left. The clone then disappears.

Well done.

(Magen: Hanarasui) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

So; this one, I think you just look at the target and thus places them in this gen, this technique will make the target think they are trapped in a large flower bud, which blows up. The target will think the explosion actually happening; leaving the target with metal damage on them. I personally find this technique really, really obvious.

Advantages:
  • 1. Does actual physical damage to an opponent and a fair amount at that.
  • 2. Range is decent.
  • 3. No hand signs or anything complicated is needed to perform the jutsu.
Disadvantages:
  • 1. As you said this illusion is mega obvious.
  • 2. Only effects one sense, sight.
  • 3. Only lasts one turn at the most.
How you would use it in battle: I would use it as a distraction for an opening. The opponent has to break the genjutsu one way or another leaving them open. If the genjutsu happens to work then great. You could also use this in genjutsu layering. This could be the lowest rank genjutsu cast and a less obvious but higher ranked genjutsu could be cast on top of it.
How you would counter it: Genjutsu release, physical pain, or full body chakra surge.
How you perform it: I would build up chakra in my body and release it through my chakra points. I would direct that chakra towards my targets brain trapping them in my genjutsu. I would then imagine the target trapped in a large flower bud which explodes. My spiritual energy would bring life to the illusion in the targets eyes and they would see themselves trapped in a large flower bud. Shortly after they would see the flower bud explode and they would collapse.

Hmm, good.

(Magen: Jubaku Satsu) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.

This technique is best used with that water technique mist; you will perform a set of five seals from there, the target will see you dissolve into a mist, and once you get into short range, the target will think they are bound to a tree that just rapid grows out of the ground, then your target will see you coming out from the tree to attack them, which ever way you see fit, but outside the illusion; the target is unable to move, so allowing you to attack them or whatever. As I said before best used with a mist like technique so it's harder for them to get out of it.

Small little quiz question: What Naruto character used this? And, who did they use this against?

Advantages:
  • 1. If successful the target won't be able to move.
  • 2. Can be combined with the water mist technique so the beginning of the illusion is less obvious.
  • 3. Doesn't require much chakra.
Disadvantages:
  • 1. Can only be used in short range.
  • 2. Requires 5 handseals.
  • 3. Illusion is pretty obvious.
How you would use it in battle: I would immobilize my target using this genjutsu and then use an elemental jutsu in short range. The elemental jutsu would hit them if they used genjutsu release. I would also as you said use a water mist technique to make the beginning of the illusion less obvious.
How you would counter it: Genjutsu release, physical pain, or full body chakra surge. I'm partial to full body chakra surge for this jutsu.
How you perform it: I would build my chakra up and release it through multiple chakra points and release it on the outside of my body. Then I would perform 5 handseals to further focus the chakra before directing it towards my targets brain. Trapped in my genjutsu I would visualize myself dissolving into a mist before a tree came up from the ground and wrapped around opponent immobilizing them. The illusion would take form in the targets eyes via my spiritual energy. After the target feels they are immobilized they would see me coming out of the tree to attack as part of the illusion. In reality I would approach in short range and attack them however I see fit.

Genkai stares across a grassy field at a clone of her sensei. She stands 4 m from the clone. Genkai builds up water chakra in her body and releases it through chakra points in her mouth. She then disperses that water into the air creating a thick mist between her and the clone.

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist colored by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.
Right before the mist completely blocks Genkai's sight she builds up chakra and releases it on the outside of her body. She then performs 5 handseals to focus the chakra and directs it at the clone brain trapping them in a genjutsu. Genkai visualizes an illusion that takes form through her spiritual energy in the clone's eyes. The clone then sees Genkai dissolve into a mist as the water mist reaches its full thickness. As soon as the clone sees Genkai dissolve they see a tree come up from the ground behind them. Thick branches from the tree wrap around the clone making them feel like they are immobilized. The clone then sees Genkai protrude out of the top of the tree with a sword in her hand ready to attack. In reality Genkai runs up to the clone preparing to attack. Genkai can't see due to the thick mist but since it is short range she knows where the clone is since she locked on to it's location before casting the water mist jutsu. When Genkai gets within 2 m of the clone she builds water chakra in her mouth and releases it in the form of a compressed water wave. The wave hits the clone and it disappears.

(Magen: Jubaku Satsu) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death

Type: Supplementary
Range: Short

Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.
(Suiton: Taihoudan) - Water Style: Water Gun
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: A strong water wave spit from the mouth that is more compressed than Chaos Water Wave and can carve the earth if used on the same area multiply times.
Kurenai used this genjutsu when fighting with Itachi. I have one question about the jutsu. When it says short range does that mean that you have to be standing at short range to cast it or that you can only attack when the target is immobilized and you reach within short range of them. Normally it's the prior but I thought I would ask.

Hmm, you sure do put a lot of detail into your replies, good.

Okay now I would like you to come at me with some techniques you have learnt from your other trainings and also you must use at least one genjutsu technique to your current rank, come at me with all you've got.

GO.

Thanks, I try to not make my answers redundant but sometimes it's difficult.

I understand sensei. Prepare yourself.

Genkai once again stares across the grassy field but this time she is not staring at a clone. She is staring at her sensei who stands 8 m in front of her. The lessons have been long and the sun has taken cover underneath the sky yielding to the night. Genkai builds up doton chakra in her body and releases it into the earth. The ground below Genkai's sensei starts to rumble building up to a small tremor. The tremor causes Genkai's sensei to lose his balance.

(Doton: Yochi no Douyou) - Earth Release: World Shaking
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will concentrate and release their chakra into the ground to create a small tremor that can result in harming the enemy target.
Genkai's sensei begins to slowly fall to the ground. As her sensei tries to maintain his balance Genkai quickly builds up her chakra and performs 3 hand seals. Genkai directs the released chakra at her sensei's brain. When Genkai's sensei hits the ground he is trapped in a genjutsu.

(Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu) Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique
Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will do a sequence of 3 hand seals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu.
After sensei hits the ground he sees 2 stone spikes come out of the ground at a 45 degree angle and pierce his legs going through his knee caps. The vibrations from the tremor before and the hands signs for the genjutsu coupled with little time to react make this a believable illusion. When the illusion ends or if Genkai's sensei detects the first illusion and releases it he will be trapped in a second illusion. In the second illusion it will appear as if daybreak is coming and the sun is slowly rising into the sky. The light from the sun is blinding and will force Genkai's sensei to cover his eyes if the illusion is not released. Genkai builds up a large amount of futon chakra in her body and performs the hand seals Tiger → Dog. She then releases the focused chakra as a large compressed sphere of wind aimed at her sensei. If the second illusion is not released Genkai's sensei will not see the wind coming due to the bright light of the illusionary sun.

(Fūton: Shinkū Taigyoku) – Wind Release: Vacuum Great Sphere
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description: After performing two hand seals Tiger → Dog the user launches a stronger version of the Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere technique, where the user instead chooses to compress the entirety of the previously inhaled breath into a single large, crushing sphere of wind chakra that they then proceed to expel from their mouth.
I hope your ok sensei.

Sorry about no answering your previous question, you can do both: i.e you can run while performing the hand seals, and then perform the technique at short range, but it could differ for genjutsu.

------------

I'm sorry to say; but I performed a Genjutsu on you before you even started.

Genjutsu: Kage bunshin no sakkaku | Illusionary Arts: Shadow Clone Illusion
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 25
Damage: N/A
Description: The user performs the clone hand seal and makes his opponent see a shadow clone appear next to the user. The opponent then sees the shadow clone and the user start running towards him, both in an arc, left and right. Then the opponent sees them using jutsus that come at him from both sides, somewhat diagonally. As the jutsus are coming at the opponent, the original user can freely attack him.
Note: Using an other Genjutsu while this is active would end the illusion
Note: Only McRazor can teach this

You were facing a shadow clone all along. >;3

That was great, really great. Good usage and very good explaining on how you did everything.
Now back to the learning of the techniques.

(Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

Similar to the last technique you learnt, but with small changes, as you just disappear I'd think like the latter. That starts the genjutsu, the target will see bean vines grow from the ground, and grabbing the target lifting them up into the air, then a bean pod emerges from the ground showing the caster, about to start the target. Seems what rather again obvious imo. I wouldn't use it, but if you were in a area with plants that big you could maybe pull it off.

How do you tell that Genjustu you cast on me is an illusion? The illusion seems pretty full proof to me unless your a sensory type. Way to be original using your own genjutsu...:|.

Advantages:
  • 1. The jutsu has decent range.
  • 2. The target will be immobilized if jutsu is successful.
  • 3. Low chakra and no hand seals.
Disadvantages:
  • 1. Super obvious illusion.
  • 2. Takes some time for the illusion to fully develop.
  • 3. This jutsu can't be maintained past one turn.
How you would use it in battle: I agree with you I wouldn't use it. If I had to it would be to make the opponent take the time to break the illusion delaying their reaction time.
How you would counter it: Genjutsu release, Physical pain, or full body chakra surge. If I want to inflict physical pain I would use a earth jutsu to cause a spike to pierce through my thigh. Since the thigh is not a dominant part of the leg I should still be able to move but probably slower. Again I like full body chakra surge.
How you perform it: I would build my chakra up and release it through multiple chakra points and release it on the outside of my body. Then I would direct the chakra towards my target's brain trapping them in my genjutsu. I would visualize myself dissolving into a mist and set the illusion in my targets eyes with my spiritual energy. After I dissolve the target would see several bean vines growing from the ground and lifting them into the air. If they haven't released the illusion by this point they would see a bean pod rise from the ground. The bean pod would open and I would be inside ready to attack.

(Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion

Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid

Damage points: N/A

Genkai stands in front of another fodder clone in the grassy field. She builds up her chakra and releases it through her chakra points. She then directs the chakra to the clone's brain and they are trapped in a genjutsu. Genkai visualizes dissolving into a mist and the illusion takes over the clone's sight. The clone then sees vines grow from the ground and lift it into the air. Since the illusion is obvious the clone uses genjutsu release to dispel the illusion. While the clone is releasing the genjutsu Genkai grabs a kunai from her pouch and throws it at the clone. The kunai hits the clone as soon as it releases the genjutsu. The clone disappears.

Yeah. That's why I wanted to trade with him to get it, very handy in a lot of cases.

Good.

(Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.

With this one all you need to do is look at your target or clap your hands, either one. Once you do one of those two, your target will be placed in the gen, he will see snakes appear from the ground, and with your command the snakes start to crush and hold back the target from attacking you, and crushing them also. The target will take metal damage. This is one of the more used techniques, since it is handy and less obvious.
