I find manga becoming dull now, and uninspiring to watch. That is why I'm divorcing it once naruto (maybe attack on titans also) is over. Of course, one piece has some entertaining parts but isn't exactly what I care to follow for that much longer anyway. I probably won't come back to it because by the time it's finished I'll not even like manga or anime anymore. Still, I am a huge Naruto fan, so I've decided to stay for its finale. Naruto was my first anime and will be my last; I've watched a panoply of anime, and yet I enjoy Naruto the most out them all.I think anime is cool, just consumed to much time out of my life, and so I must resign as a fan of it.

Naruto is what I like in a story though. I was always defending Naruto intently everyday. Got to say I won't miss that.

EDIT: tl:dr vers. Naruto is the only reason I'm still reading manga today. When it's finished I'll stop reading them and watching anime too.

Naruto is the only manga I read now. I used to be into Bleach and AoT, but I just got tired of it.

Naruto was my first manga and will be my last, as well.

I am almost at the point of quitting reading it. The number of plot-holes is off the chart.

If you're done reading with manga but still enjoy the idea of reading it... why not read graphic novels like Batman or something, great story line and characters. Plus really entertaining, my personal favorite is "The Son of Batman" and the second portion of it... I believe is called "Pearl".

If you're not interested in that then just pick up reading an actual novel? Fan fiction works to haha. Anyhow, good luck with your decision, before you confirm if you actually will stop reading manga.

I like manga for its original characters and literary examples. They were easier to read than novels which I use to peruse for a little. I had become fascinated by the story-telling and creativity, and it led to me becoming a maladaptive day dreamer. Now that I was made aware of its futility, my day dreaming is slowly withering and so is my love for fiction. I still read naruto because I find it the exception of what I like still in manga. Soon I will give up all manga though.

Read the op. I said naruto is the manga I'm reading until the end, then I'm done reading ALL manga. Selective reading is constant now a days.

I actually remember feeling like this before... Like, way, way before I even started reading manga. But then I found something new to get inspired by, and again, and again, and as I got older I stopped being so deeply invested in fiction, like it doesn't make me as emotional as it did before; I still daydream though (my brain just functions this way), and yes, I'm an awkward person who ultimately can't fit, even though I'm in no way antisocial. So, it's totally fine to go though something like this during your life and you're lucky if you actually manage to stop being a daydreamer like you said.

I'm accepting what perhaps reality is and more realism into my life but steadfast in maintaining the unproven still to be real. What I was day dreaming I knew was beyond even human capabilities, and I realized it was vain imagination. Before, I use to dream and wonder the existence of having the ability to fly or something never witness. It's most likely a maturity phase, when you question the things you read or watch, even your self created thoughts. Life would appear empty, but I will remain steadfast in what I may believe to be real, while not allowing fictional stories like mangas dictate my perception of things. Writing on mobile sorry if any mistakes

Well, I went through that stage of being depressed about how fiction is not real when I was about 13 I think. Now it exists side by side with my real life and I still find ways to enjoy it - it's just that they don't interfere with one another. I like being inspired even if it isn't productive (I don't write or draw anything myself), I like to look at beautiful things that are around and I enjoy them no matter how small without giving them any deep thought. There's nothing wrong with letting imaginary things cheer you up for example as long as you don't go crazy with them :)
