chakra is the resulting energy produced when Physical and Spiritual energies become mixed together. Hand signs are then used to harness this energy and expel it out of the body Usually in the form of some kind of attack. All ninja have a limited supply of chakra in their body. When ones chakra is depleted to zero they will die.So, let's start with the very basics: what, in your own words, is chakra, a ninja, taijutsu, ninjutsu, genjutsu, fuuinjutsu. What are the elemental affinities?
Chakra, as you said, is the molding of spiritual energy and physical energy combined. Spiritual energy is gained through exercise and experience in battle, which can be one explanation why Chuunin are stronger than Genin. Physical energy comes from every cell present in your body. After it's molded, you channel it and release it through one of the 361 Tenketsu, or chakra points, along the body. Through different ways, the normal way being via hand seals, the chakra can then be manipulated to create an effect that would not be possible otherwise, such as walking on water, releasing lightning bolts, or creating a genjutsu, which I'll explain more about lower. And yes, Natural energy is used to enter Sage Mode. It is also what powers Jugo's clan and the main power behind the Curse Marks that Orochimaru often administered.chakra is the resulting energy produced when Physical and Spiritual energies become mixed together. Natural chakra from the earth is energy that can be collected from the atmosphere and terrain. If a ninja can collect the natural energy from around them and combine and balance it with the spiritual and physical energy that makes up their chakra they can become sages and enter the Sage Mode allowing them to use senjutsu. This method can be taught by the people in one of two legendary locations. Those places are Mt. Myoboku and Ryuchi cave sensai.
A ninja, or shinobi rather, is one who lives the life of combat in order to protect that which they hold dear to them, whether that be a village or organization or even a person in Kimimaro's case. A female ninja is known as a kunoichi. Most come from a hidden village and sometimes carry out missions, which can include: doing manual labour, acting as escorts, gathering secret information, retrieving stolen items, carrying out assassinations, etc. In times of war, ninja will come together to defend their villages and land. The clearest characteristic of a shinobi is their ability to manipulate chakra to create and use techniques. Shinobi are expected to be loyal to their villages for life, and any defectors are considered to be missing-nin, and will be marked for death. Inversely, a Samurai is similar to a ninja, living by a code of conduct and ethics but with a large noticeable difference: They cannot mold chakra for usage.A ninja is put in charge of protecting thier village or organization with the use of ninja tools and skills that they aqcuire throughout their life. They are also born and bred to one day fight for said village or organization. Theyre are ninja of all races and power levels. and theyre powers and abilities differ depending on theyre chackra nature and elemental release. With the use of all the different jutsu in the ninja world they are fighters and defenders.
Taijutsu, or body arts, is the art of hand to hand combat. Taijutsu is executed by accessing the user's physical and mental energies, relying on the stamina and strength gained through training. One of the benefits of using taijutsu over ninjutsu and it's counterpart, genjutsu, is that it requires no handseals or molding of chakra and as such, is performed relatively faster. There are several abilities related solely to taijutsu usage, the most notable being the Eight Inner Gates, or EIG as we call it on NB. They are essentially limitations placed along the body to limit the amount of chakra one can access at a single time in order to prevent that ninja from fatally harming himself from using all of his chakra up. I myself happen to be a taijutsu master, going as far as to learn NB Taijutsu, a field created by Zenryoku for taijutsu lovers and even learning the coveted EIG.Taijutsu is the art of using your chakra through your natural ability and enhancing your body to fight. The are of ninjutsu is to use the several elements derived from the world to create harm or protection on someone or yourself. some examples are fire, wind, earth, and water. The art of Genjutsu is to focus ones chakra to visually attack your opponent and is a very powerful means of combat. Fuuinjutsu techniques are the Ninjutsu sealing techniques of the ninja. They allow the ninja to contain the elements and demons.
For the most part, correct. These five types are also called elements and are not only the origin of the names of the Five Great Shinobi Countries, but also the foundation of all elemental ninjutsu.[3] The five basic natures are all connected to each other in a circle, each being weaker than one and stronger than another. The Affinities of all jutsus depends on the ninja using them. to best use the jutsu the ninja must create a certain relationship with himself and his chackra in order to precisely use the jutsu. Not everybody can gain an affinity for a jutsu. you must feel it with your heart, mind, and body.
As Kumori ponders for a few seconds he responds 'Genjutsu Master, that is what I want to learn first'.Chakra, as you said, is the molding of spiritual energy and physical energy combined. Genjutsu is a very tricky field. Meaning illusionary arts, it's a field that works by utilizing your chakra to create illusions and effects on your targets. Genjutsu is created when a ninja controls the chakra flow of the opponent's cerebral nervous system, thereby affecting their five senses. As I'm not a genjutsu specialist, this field is fairly harder for me to explain adequately. I always feel as if I'm not doing it justice. Needless to say, we'll cover this one more when we begin training in it.
Fuuinjutsu, or sealing arts, are a type of Jutsu that seals chakra, living beings, objects, energy, etc within another object through the use of kanji codes/spells. Fuuinjutsu may vary greatly but most obey the same basic principle: You need a medium (living or not) in which was prepared the Kanji Codes/Inscriptions of the seal. You need to expend chakra to activate the seal and chakra to sustain it for a given amount of time. To release it, you must once again expend chakra to unlock the seal, while still needing the correct "key". The "key" is a variation of the technique only known to those who create it, thus disabling the probability of the seal being released by someone else; it can be a given set of handseals or even a DNA imprint (through a blood contract). However, even if most seals may work in this simple fashion, some more advanced seals work in many other ways. Even if you take into account that all seals must be triggered/fueled by chakra, they must all have a medium in which to seal away the target.

These elements allow for elemental ninjutsu to be performed:
Fire natured chakra allows for Fire Release which is strong against Wind but weak against Water.
Wind natured chakra allows for Wind Release which is strong against Lightning but weak against Fire.
Lightning natured chakra allows for Lightning Release which is strong against Earth but weak against Wind.
Earth natured chakra allows for Earth Release which is strong against Water but weak against Lightning.
Water natured chakra allows for Water Release which is strong against Fire but weak against Earth.
Now, there are also more advanced releases as well, though we'll cover those once we reach elemental ninjutsu.
Now, as a special jounin, you are able to learn taijutsu, ninjutsu, genjutsu and elemental jutsu up to B rank. That being said, what field do you wish to start in first?
The ninja needs to stop the flow of chakra in their body, and then apply an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; this is called Genjutsu Dissipation. This can also be done by an unaffected ninja by applying a sudden surge of chakra into the affected person. In addition, tailed beasts can break their jinchuuriki out of genjutsu in a similar fashion if they have a good enough cooperation.Crap. >_>'
Okay. Before we get into actually talking about genjutsu and it's uses, we need to expand upon your knowledge in other places. Genjutsu works by altering your reality through the use of illusions and chakra but before you can learn about altering reality, you first have to understand your reality and surroundings first. Genjutsu manipulates one or more of your five senses and you need to have a strong sense of understanding of reality and your surroundings in order to know something is up and not right.
When you are placed inside a genjutsu, you must discover how it is just that, a genjutsu. People sometimes go into these long winded and pointless discussions on how they realize it's an illusion when you can notice small, simple things that can alarm you. Things that seem to happen suddenly and are unrealistic to the situation and scenario should be an alarming factor. Things like a Hozuki bio causing trees around to change should tip you off as well.
Recognizing is only half the battle, you must be able to counter it as well. Wasting time on long speeches on how you figure out may cost you the fight. In most cases, once you're placed under a genjutsu, you only have a few moments before another attack is sent your way. That means you have to reason very quickly and counter/defend against the genjutsu and then whatever jutsu may or may not be hurling towards you.
That being said, what all ways do you know of that can release one from a genjutsu? ^_^ *hint there are four ways*
Well, you're halfway right on that. I've had a Nekura bio for a while now and due to it's immunity to genjutsus, my err....average skill in genjutsu has begun to drop from not having to have to deal with it, so the field, as many might tell you, isn't my forte. I might not like it much, but I do remember enough to know how to get out of them if I need to. There are four ways to escape the effects of a genjutsu. Most people's problem in fights is when they get trapped inside a genjutsu, they the know the proper way to escape them. The ways are through the Kai release jutsu, Physical pain, Chakra Surges, and through a second party channeling chakra into you. The first is the easiest and most used way to release yourself if you have enough time. Essentially a spike in your chakra system, you cause your chakra flow to momentarily stop, causing any outside chakra's effects to become dormant in my opinion, there, but not there. Once the chakra flow spikes back up, it fully releases you from the genjutsu. I want you to look over it and analyze it and tell you what you think about its uses and everything else you see.The ninja needs to stop the flow of chakra in their body, and then apply an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; this is called Genjutsu Dissipation. This can also be done by an unaffected ninja by applying a sudden surge of chakra into the affected person. Another is through intense pain not caused by the genjutsu and utilising the resulting pain to bring their senses back in order of the first two options, the latter seems more effective in most situations, or at least is the easiest.
Another option is accessible only to Sharingan wielders. Members of the Uchiha clan can break or see through genjutsu using their Sharingan. Breaking Tsukuyomi is possible with an ordinary Sharingan, but requires a lot of skill.
Sharingan wielders can also use their dojutsu to liberate each other from genjutsu. Through eye contact, they are able to literally insert themselves into each other's genjutsu freely allowing them to break whatever genjutsu it is that imprisons their comrade.
Yes, the first one was kinda obvious xD. As for the second one, well in order to release this jutsu you'd have to make a handseal, which is rather noticeable in a fight. Even if they cannot determine you have released, they would likely know that by that movement, you are attempting a jutsu, which likely means you've realized you're in a genjutsu and are readying some kind of retaliation, whether an offensive jutsu or breaking the gen but either way, it'd likely be known that you're aware of the genjutsu. As from what I understand I can use this technique to release myself from most forms of Genjutsu. I could even probably use this to release myself yet at the same time make the opponent think I am still under his genjutsu while at the same time casting a genjutsu of my own to counter then attack.
Me being of the Aburame clan wouldnt I be able to use my bugs to sense when a genjutsu is being cast once I get my clan training? other than that no more questions.Yes, the first one was kinda obvious xD. As for using this while casting a genjutsu at the same time, in my opinion, it wouldn't work. See, Kai works by stopping your chakra flow completely and then restarting it. As your chakra flow stops, it makes it impossible for chakra to flow through you, negating your enemy's chakra in you as it can no longer flow through you with no chakra flow. As you cut your chakra flow while using kai, it causes your ability to use your chakra in that time to disappear and once your chakra respikes, reappears. Why? You cannot tap into a chakra source to cast a genjutsu with that chakra if the chakra isn't there. Likewise, until Kai is completed, you can't use other jutsu so no, no casting other genjutsu at the same time as using kai.
Any more questions? It's always a great thing to ask them as they broaden both of your knowledge of things. ^^
Well, I'm not sure. I actually do not know much about the Aburame clan.Me being of the Aburame clan wouldnt I be able to use my bugs to sense when a genjutsu is being cast once I get my clan training? other than that no more questions.
using pain to oneself disrupts the nerves in your body, essentially cancelling the Genjutsu's hold. The amount of pain or damage inflicted affects how long it takes to escape the jutsu. However, it is not reliable. You can only inflict so much pain on yourself before you take too much blood loss. A couple ways are biting your thumb or stabbing yourself with a weapon of some sorts. The second way is via pain. Tell me what you know about pain to escape genjutsu. Be very detailed, what levels of pain escape you from what levels of jutsu?
