He was knocked out for a week, all it shows is he can survive without food for a week. Durable he got a week long knockout from a few hits.

That unlikely because Dragon never much interfered with Pirates instead he was investigating about the underworld stuff. Also he cannot drive a powerful enemy towards his Head Quarters.
