Looking For A While

[Cyanide Addiction]

I've been look for a while
For a steady anchor to hold onto
To keep me from drifting another mile
I wish to be lost in a sea of blue

Instead I'm stuck in this sea of black
And although I do remember a few
Many have gone away and won't come back
Sadly this may be my fate too

I just want Something
No I need someone
Alone I am nothing
And I can't keep from coming undone

So those who have ears
Have a listen for a time
To my dreams that turned into fears
And a love that turned into a crime

Those who have eyes
Have a look deeper than skin
Don't judge a book covered up with lies
And don't let the deceivers win

I'll keep on looking for a while
I don't know if I'll stay or float away
Maybe I'll drift more than a mile
And find again that deep sea of blue

Instead of being stuck in this sea of black
Maybe I'll find a few friends anew
I can't say if I'll ever come back
But I must face my fate as we all do​
