I just realized this today, while debating on youtube. Kishimoto already proved hiruzen's title "God of shinobi" wrong.

People didn't want to be believe it through Madara Uchiha. But a more confirmed person has proved it wrong.

im not against your opinion the hype given to hiruzen. but dan said that when he was revived via edo tensei. and for all we know, all dan was saying was that nobody alive at the moment is capable of stopping the revived madara. one fact though, everyone knew that hashirama defeated madara. so it would make sense to say that. hiruzen never fought madara, and it would be pointles to say, only hashirama would be able to stop madara, and if hiruzen was still alive, he would have stopped him too. or maybe jiraiya. etc. do you get my point?

and guess what kakashi's fans startin makin threads kakashi surpassed Jiraiya omg and even i read one thread kakashi vs nagato bitch please kakashi was trolled by 1 of the paths.

we all know sarutobi senior kicked both brothers back to their grave and no there was not any damn clear manga proof which said they weren't full power .

Actually that was no troll. Kakashi , Guy, and others just weren't that strong at the time. Hes pretty on par or a level below Jiraya.. but not surpassed.

O_O Hiruzen kicked them?? I thought Hiruzen got his face like a bitch. And then thought he did some damage with mere paper bombs.. but the bros just shook it off.

Bottomline.. Oro trolled Hiruzen to the point.. where Hiruzen had no choice but to commit suicide.

Madara showed us that his final susano'o form can destroy mountain ranges, he states that it is equivalent to A TAILED BEAST'S
Now look, i Dont care what you say about any characters comments on "god of shinobi" shit, because lets be honest, you have never, and will NEVER see Hiruzen bust out a TBB or a 200 ft tall Susano'o with four swords.
I should think this is substantial evidence, However if you want to argue, by all means show us a manga scan that shows Hiruzen doing something of equal destructive force/scale.
(now just in case you want to be a little girl and say "Not all strength is measured in ---blah blah blah" all i have to say to you is this: Power is measured by size and strength of technique. If you wanted to call a healer the best ninja on earth you'd obviously be wrong.)

Probably because Hashirama has great sealing techs and is therefore an awesome counter to Edo Madara. It was stated in Part 1 that Hiruzen was the strongest of the Hokage in his prime. No one doubts Hashi's power, but you gotta get over it. Hiruzen was the strongest of the Kage and that is that. Sure, Hashi has massive techs that can re-shape a battlefield, but Hiruzen was just a more skilled ninja. "A master with a pebble can defeat a novice with a kunai". Not saying Hashi is a novice by far, but like it was stated Naruto is rock, paper, scissors. Where 1 ninja is the perfect counter to ninja A, ninja B could still take on the original shinobi.

Um could hiruzan control tailed beasts no could he block a tailed beast blast like madara or the first no plus hiruzan has to use the monkey king the fight nine tails he is another ninja it is simple the first and madara are on another level what could hiruzan do against a perfect susanoo or against a giant wood dragon throwing a pebble at them won't work what a stupid quote like the first is a novice compared to hiruzan hiruzan is no where near the first or madara
