I don't think that is really proof. Though I don't actually know if the hizuren hype is true this does not really prove it. Also dan probably never saw sarutobi in action either. kage don't fight very often and even if he ever did have to fight as hokage there is no proof dan was ever around. That is all just speculation on your part. Hizuren could very well still be the greatest hokage or maybe Kishi does not care or remember saying that.

I'd actually like proof of Kishimoto himself saying anything about the Hokage's strength levels, or a video of the Hokage's fighting eachother. If not, then everything in this thread is declared invalid and stupid.

Actually that was no troll. Kakashi , Guy, and others just weren't that strong at the time. Hes pretty on par or a level below Jiraya.. but not surpassed.

And byakuya doesn't like taking shit from anyone ... And tbh yea zarakis fit better

And about his god of shinobi I think he derseves the tittle just not how people take it ( he knew the jutsu - doesn't make him automatically number one because about 70% could have been useless and 20% he didn't have chakra for them he didn't have much choices ofcourse I don't think hiruzen is weak he is just old ( though hashirama still rolls him)

The thing is.. hes not even hailed as the best shinobi. Only the first and Second Hokage are. The first was basically a God in his own right. The Second was a amazing genius. All Sarutobi did was learn all the jutsus in konoha. But Mokuton and Sharingan still have the strongest jutsus. And not to forget he doesn't have medical ninjutsu. X_X

Thats why I think hes even weaker then Tobirama.
