You know something? I'm reading chapter 4 now and OMG, Sasuke is blushing when Sakura talks about her dreams...LOL...I guess he knows she's talking about him...
But if we're taking blushes to mean romantic feelings, Sakura is blushing quite a bit in chapter 6 as she watches Naruto take on Kakashi.
ZAnd Naruto blushed quite a bit when his stomach growled in chapter 7 as he was tied to the post.
I'm saying all this to say blushing in manga can signal embarassment OR romantic feelings. Were Sasuke's blushes based on feeling a tingling his his pants or butterflies in his stomach when Sakura talked about him or was he simply embarrassed by her behavior? He's supposed to be the cool, calm, and collected one after all.
As for him getting jealous when he told Sakura Naruto saved her and Sakura was looking at Naruto admiringly, yea I can see some jealousy there. But was the jealousy based on this being a reminder that Naruto has surpassed him and now that damn Naruto is even taking his fan girls, or is it bc he liked Sakura and now feels that this potential romance is threatened?
None of this matters in the end, I supposed, but I really think you're grossly overstating Sasuke and Sakura's interaction with each other and the extent of Sasuke's feelings for her.
Again, there is no question in my mind that he cares for her as a comrade and friend, but in love with her? In part 1? No sir. Not even in part 2.
Oh yea, and he protected Sakura bc she was his team mate. He also saved Karin's life and risked death tro save her...hell, he even awakened the power to extinguish the amaterasu bc of Karin. Was he in love with her too?

There is only one way to make Sakura and Hinata better characters.Kishi should just hand them over to Studio Pierott while he focuses on the guys
As it stands there is very limited interactions regarding Sasuke in the movie and for added proof the box size of Sasuke on the official website is smaller than Sakura and Hinata and equals Choji so dont expect anything for Sasuke there

Let me be honest.There are 2 moments in Part 1 where Sasuke cares for Sakura
1.In forest of death when he is under curse mark
2.When Gaara has held her hostage
The bulk of Part 2 has absolutely nothing except 685 and 699.
Thats all there is
Also for the last time in Part 1 Sasuke was butthurt because Naruto had surpassed him.Not because Naruto rescued Sakura otherwise his ego wouldnt have allowed him to tell her that Naruto rescued her.Peple keep misunderstanding this shit

Manga is Canon is much more important than any movie
Movie is a filler.
Kishimoto never will show Sasuke and Sakura kissing in a shounen manga.
Sasuke still has a very different personality than Naruto.
This movie is just a ridiculous shoujo story to explain NH.
Hinata and NH doesn't has any closure with Naruto in 699 the LAST CHAPTER BEFORE EPILOGUE.

Thats not my problem.See the movie actually shows Naruto falling in love with Hinata with a kiss and a love confession.When exactly did Sasuke fall in love with Sakura and confess?He is a pretty important character considering that 699 was told from Sasuke's POV.That forehead poke isnt exactly falling in love as he just poked her and left.
If you compare NH and SS and if there is nothing regarding the latter in the movie,NH will be miles above SS in development

The forehead poke is very important to Sasuke's and explain everything.
This is the most important gesture between Sasuke and his Brother.

Only in a movie NH will be more important than SS. This is very obvious since Naruto is the main character and NH doesn't has any closure in manga to show how Naruto fell in love with Hinata.
Any canon couple in 700 or characters like Sasuke or Kakashi or even Taka and Orochimaru doesn't has any importance in this movie. It's all about NH.
SS is a more important and developed couple in the manga than NH.
The fact Kishimoto choosen 699 to show only Sasuke's POV and SS closure made it clear.
SS still has much more scenes and mention to Sakura's feeling than Hinata and NH.
Part 1 doesn't has any NH true scene while part 1 is full of SS scenes and physical contact like hugs
Part 2 only has Hinata's confession and the holding hands scene as the true NH scenes.

Right...this is what makes me believe the editors forced Kishi to do SasuSaku since he was doing NaruHina (and also to give Bolt a rival and reunite the Uchiha/Uzumaki/Senju/Hyuga bloodlines into one via Bolt and Sarada's eventual marriage is my theory.)
In fact, I seems to recall a Kishi interview a while back in which he said he'd only make one pairing canon, which I guess is NaruHina since Hinata was created to be his love interest in the first place....
From what I've read online, there were ZERO SasuSaku moments in the movie.
Also, just to clear up a misconception that I've been seeing online, Sasuke never promised to return to Sakura with the forehead poke. He said the line Itachi always said was, "maybe next time." So you can't even legitimately say Sasuke caught feelings for her and fully intended to return to the village to be with her.
Also, ppl should'nt get too excited about the forehead poke. Yea it was something meaningful between him and Itachi, but it was Itachi's way to PUSH HIM AWAY....to KEEP SASUKE AT ARM'S LENGTH.....when Itachi truly let his guard down and embraced Sasuke he did forehead to forehead.

And Kishi said in a recent interview which everyone should've seen by now that he doesn't see Sasuke living in the village normally after everything that has happened. Dude isn't a family man. He's traveling trying to find the truth of the world and finding solutions to preventing the past from repeating itself.
I wouldn't be surprised if he and Sakura just had a night of passion when he stopped by one day and she got knocked up. And the Uchiha symbols in her house is probably just some mementos he left behind for Sarada.
That's just my hate talking though. LOL

blushing can express many thing in the manga yep but not in Sasuke's case!!!
Sasuke blushed only for Sakura, other girls touched him in a romantic/sensual way in part 1 and part 2 and he freaked out!!!

btw notice how you never see his eyes in both scenes, this is not a coincidence, just look at his facial expressions when he's with Itachi or Naruto and you will see why Kishi chose to not show his eyes in these scenes

Lots of good points here. You build a good case with him only blushing for her. I can buy that. I always thought you need to look for subtle, non-verbal hints to figure out what Sasuke's thinking and these qualify I think.blushing can express many thing in the manga yep but not in Sasuke's case!!!

As for the jealous Sasuke example you gave- I think he was blushing more out of embarrassment from having to humble himself and ask Naruto the loser in his mind, for tips.
As for the forehead tap, like I said previously, Sasuke said "Maybe next time" in the VIZ version and the forehead tap, while special, also served to push Sasuke away and keep him at a distance.
If Kishi ever bothered to develop this pairing and mark the beginning of Sasuke's love for Sakura, he'd likely have him do forehead to forehead or kiss her forehead or something.
Here we see he lets Sakura in a little, but she's not all the way in. He's still keeping her at arms length until he's good and ready to pull her closer...
...which is my main issue with this pairing- Sakura is sitting in the village twiddling her thumbs pining after Sasuke while he's out doing what he does. He[ll return to the village whenever he damn well feels like, knock her up...leave...return whenever he feels like...knock her up again and repeat cycle.
I wonder if she even feels fulfilled in this relationship or if she's just accepting whatever emotional scraps Sasuke throws her way out of desperation to be with him. She clearly has no standards or backbone at all. Everything is on Sasuke's terms.

imo Sasuke is still feeling guilty about all the shit he did, the stuff he didn't understood and missed, also he doesn't really know the grown up Sakura, he still loves her but well, they didn't had any moments together for years since he left.
the tap is just like a "gurl, you always had a chance with me but give me some time before i tap something else than your forehead", Sasuke's attitude never really changed, Uchiha swag full mode XD
