Honestly, I think Madara and all the Kage should have stayed gone. The show is about New surpassing the old and forgiveness. Was no reason to bring them back other than fan appeal. Case and point... Pain arc was epic! The older characters having a brief show casing would have been great. Was no need to add them full on

Honestly Akatsuki being alive would have made this better as they could be in command of divisions. (Loyal akatsuki of course)

I agree that the Kages should've stayed dead, but I wanted the current Generation to level up and collaborate in defeating Madara (and ONLY Madara).

Yeah I agree. the best thing Kishi did with the KAGE was when Minato visited Naruto during the Nine tail release. That was perfect way of showcasing the kage abilities without it affecting current events. Also Hashirama story about him and Madara shoudl have been the only thing to be done. But I do agree Madara as a villain was a great plot twist
