You seem new to internet... I see people faking their gender all the time. People here even

I myself haven't exactly lied about it but if someone mistakes me for a guy, I never bothered to correct them. Still don't. Many of the people on this forum addressed me as a guy for almost two years... As a mod, admins insisted I let my gender be known because, Rei felt it would put female members more at ease in case of any problem.

And you know what, I do not regret not telling my gender earlier. Even after this much time and low activity now, I get occasional stalker sending me weird PMs that I do not want.
