Which should I download? Which performers better?

RAM: 1.00 GB
Processor: Intell(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60GHz 1.60GHz

Linux Mint doesn't thrash as much ram as Ubuntu, but Ubuntu runs better.

If you have no experience, I would say Ubuntu. If you do, get Mint.

Though, I would recommend Gentoo or Slack over both of them.

I regret downloading Ubuntu. It can't identify my Wireless Network Adapter.
Should I go for Debian?

ubuntu is a shitty version of debian. debian is pretty much a stable and standard distro. It's easy to use, but much better than ubuntu.
