A person who posses the Rinnegan can intervene in an adjacent world, an extremely distance world. In that space a shadow is produced, which everyone who is connected with the current world can't feel. Not only will the technique user gain a duplicate of himself with equal ability, but it will also be invisible. Squaring of against a user, counter attack is impossible, going up against this ability will result in one losing against such a powerful enemy.

Limbo is basically this

Or like Accelerator's vectors.

Limbo are spatial beings probably 4D beings, there is a dimensional barrier between the real world and limbo world which is why they feel like a wall even if they were not invisible it would be the same.

Possible Counters:

Kamui: It could work but the thing is the limbo world is suppose to be extremely distant from the current one similar to Kaguya's so probably not without help.

Night guy: Night guy distorted space so it could have probably effected the limbo clone if Madara decided to use limbo.

The main problem is that the Limbo world is very distant so maybe those with spatial powers can't do jack forgot to mention that these spatial beings can fight and move around unlike spatial barriers.

Eh.

There are multiple characters who have invisibility techniques, and some who have invisibility techs and unsensible chakra, yet they still don't make it on most top 10 lists.

I'm gonna give Limbo the "OP on paper, decent in practice" grade.

You can't counter it unless you have the Rin'negan or Rikudou Sage Mode (Senjutsu of the Six Paths). It's all a matter of being able to perceive it and if you can't, you lose. With that being said, it's powerful but not perfect. Any Rikudou powered Rin'negan user (so basically Sasuke and or Hagoromo himself) can easily cut them down by being able to see them and Naruto or any other Rikudou Senjutsu user can take them down. Half Kurama RSM clones stalemated them, so the technique itself isn't some be all end all ability that wins every match-up.

Limbo are in no way 4D beings. They are shadows that exist in an alternate world that overlaps with the normal one.

Once they can be perceived the jutsu's strength is reduced considerably.

Madara's Limbo defeated Naruto's clones

Time is the 4th dimension

That's just a theory, besides by your logic everyone is a 4D being considering we move in 3 dimensions and experience 1D time.

What I mean by 4D being, is a being that experiences 4 spatial dimensions

I agree

Also limbo clones even if you can see or sense them you still can't beat them.

Rinne sasuke tried to attackGodara after sakura did and 1 limbo clone knocked both of them back. Also naruto only matched them physically his clones weren't going to win, they are immortal his clones are not.

Limbo clones also have more usefulness than any other jutsu, they can switch places with madara which helps offensively and defensively.

There is no greater defense than limbo border jail and its top 3 in offense behind IT and expansive truth seeking ball and limbo clones may be able to negate those jutsu because they can attack the userwhileexpansive tsb is being built up and the same forIT.

They aren't immortal. They can't use jutsu (backed by the manga and not misconstruing the data book) and there's a specific amount of time before they go back to the user (courtesy of Sasuke's analysis and confirmed by Madara).

They are immortal...if they could be killed naruto would have done so instead of binding the first limbo with shaped tsb rods.

Also I never said they can perform ninjutsu...pay attention young boy

Also even if there is a time limit they still can just be used again...

While the limbo clone is indeed powerful it is leagues behind all of kaguya's jutsu in terms of offensive power. Eighty-eight Gods technique when combined with her byakugan the precision of the technique and power is EXTREMELY dangerous giving it potential as the strongest offensive tech only being outmatched by ash bones and expansive truth seeking ball.

Limbo is powerful indeed but it can be defeated, people forget that madara's limbo that is hyped so much, is usually his juubi limbo, which would make the power itself pretty powerful. Albeit it was still strong without it, but against opponents like sasuke and Naruto it isn't too much. As long as madara didn't have double rinnegan.

No they did not. They were literally stalemating each other until Madara casted IT. Neither of them won.

What's your explanation for the shadows still being there and no clones fighting them then after Infinite Tsukuyomi was casted?

Well it was definitely an interesting technique, too bad its use was cut short after Madara.
