When was it stated that Limbo was a rinnegan technique, Just because Madara used it with rinnegan don't mean it's a rinnegan technique and he used Susannoo with Rinnegan so Mangekyou Techniques can be used with rinnegan.

it is too early to shut down the possibility that Limbo is a Ems or MS Ability so lets wait for Kishi to say if it is a rinnegan technique or not

OT: yeah well ,limbo being an EMS tech can indeed account for madara's survival , tho madara would've disappointed me if he lost even with his limbo in the VOTE fight .and it's kinda weird this limbo can only be perceived by rinnegans except for probably himself.

just because limbo can only be perceived by rinnegan doesn't automatically mean it's a rinnegan tech I guess...being one of the 3 dojutsu , rinnegans could have unique perception abilities

Madara taugh Rinnegan technique to Obito, Obito taugh Rinnegan technique to Nagato.... I think Madara didn't teach all Rinnegan technique & ability to Obito, so Nagato wouldn't know if Rinnegan has others ability & technique...
