Did Sasuke's sword phase through the Limbo clone or not?

If it did, Why didn't Sakura's punch go through?

Probably because the Limbo grabbed her arm.

Well it missed yes, keep in mind only the rinnegan can see the limbo clone not the other sharnningan. Try looking at an object with both eyes, now close one eye and look at the same object and go far from it, switch eyes, you're more accustomed to striking something with both eyes, if you only use one eye your brain will try to target the object as if you were using two. In sasuke's case he had both eyes open but only one could truly see tge limbo a placebo effect that he could see it with both when really it is the same as having only one eye open. That's basically how it was for sasuke, the reason the sword hit madara later was due to amenojikara. It must be weird for one eye to see in perfect clarity and the other can't. And the further you are from the object with only one eye open the less accurate your precision is. basically while looking at the limbo clone think of it as one eye could see but the other was blind. So yes sasuke missed, there was nothing wrong with the other pictures it didn't obstruct the comprehension of limbo.

Maybe Limbo clone can decide to allow physical contact or not. Sword phased Limbo clone but he stopped Sakura. Sword didn't make any physical contact but Sakura did, while it phased Limbo was protecting himself but if he let Sakura phase him she would've reached Madara. Kind of like Obito's intangibility.

Limbo can allow inter-dimensional contact. It's just like how Obito can allow other people to "phase" through the action of touch. Sasuke's sword had went through, but Limbo wanted to touch Sakura. Otherwise, the technique would be rendered useless against anyone other than those with Six Paths' Sage Chakra.

That's not right. You can clearly see the after-trail of the sword going right through the shadow's head. After that, Sasuke notes ordinary attacks wouldn't work because of his failed attempt of the sword making contact. If he had simply mis-aimed, then the memory would have no significance.

^This.

if they cannot choose whether to phase or not, they would either be completly useless( whenever they come in contact with a target they phase through them ) or easily detectable (like any other invisible solid)

The after trail is not going through the shadows neck...in fact it's barely if at all grazing the neck. The significance of the memory was to show what occurred with the sword and what happened when Naruto struck the "invisible wall". Even as a miss the audience viewing still wants to know what happened making the statement "would have no significance" as far from the truth ad the truth could be statement. It'd be bad writing on kishi's part, as sasuke was still analyzing what happened, ordinary attacks is a given that it wouldn't work as a sword would not impale the limbo. The misdirection by the eye us the most plausible human observation because it isn't based off of assumption it's a stated fact in reality. The after strike clearly shows the sword barely grazing the limbo's neck.

A given? That makes no sense, and there is nothing to suggest his eye-sight is impaired.

>Sword fails to make contact
>Oridinary attacks don't work

How would Sasuke know if only attacks with Six Paths Sage Chakra would work? Because his sword didn't. There's no other way.

That's not even how limbo works. Madara never even said anything about a phasing ability.

1.what do you mean by "completely useless" they have proven to be highly capable in their own right in battle whether that includes phasing or not.
2.easily detectable? Do you even know the fundamentals of limbo? Limbo CANNOT be sensed unless you have rikoudo chakea such as RSM Naruto, even madara stated this so by saying easily sensed is obscure. Limbo cannot even be seen by anything less of a rinnegan either. Limbo clones basically just live between a world and an alternate dimension one, think of it as a 4D being interacting with a 3D being...exactly the 3D being can't but the 4D being can kind of like in bleach. Limbos aren't that basic.

It was a given for the audience...as the attack didn't work during sasuke's surprise attack on madara so there is no reason for it to work now. I already addressed the second sentence as it was the easiest to understand, and I suppose you want proof of this? Re-read the manga, madara says sasuke can only see his limbo clone because he has the RINNEGAN, meaning an ordinary sharnningan or even an EMS can't see it. I never stated sasuke's vision was impaired either I already talked about that in my former post that only his rinnegan could see it there for it'd be like aiming at a far object with one eye open and one closed and your brain projecting it as two when it's really one, a placebo effect.

Sword did fail by missing, sasuke may have thought it went through by misdirection. An example is when might gai bypassed the likbo and he wasn't even didn't even have rikoudo chakra so attacks such as a sword attack would miss or barely graze the limbo and to effectively damage a limbo you must have rikoudo chakra oran extremely potent attack. Even the after slash only showed the sword barely grazing the neck, sasuke must've deduced that from naruto's attack as well that ordinary attacks would not work on a limbo anyway.

I think you're alone on the last part, I never said or stated that, you did.

I'm just going to stop here then. Seems you'll just stick to believing that he actually misguided his throw. I can tell you that only a hands-full of people believe that though, as in less than ten. I'll just give my reasoning one more time though. I don't expect you to reply.

>Sasuke's sword went through the shadow
>Naruto was making contact
>Sasuke memorizes his sword going straight through the shadow's head/neck, and deducts that ordinary contact would not work
