Well, If you create a taijutsu style where you utilize Earth chakra in combination with your kanabo, it could became a pretty lethal weapon.

For example.

If you slam the Kanabo on the ground, your earth chakra immediatly pushes the kanabo out, with great force. Like pinball with the floor.

And spontaneous earth pillars could pop from the ground to stop your rotation

I was talking about chakra in order to make the usage of the kanabo more practical and deadly. For such a massive weapon, you need a strong element, which is Earth.

Wind wouldn't help you maneuver it, nor Water, nor Lightning, nor Fire.

If you charge chakra on the Kanabo, it would acquire deaddly blows, but it's weaknesses would still be there (It's weight).

Earth is the only way to keep it's weight, and still being able to maneuver it efficiently.

Yes, use strong earth jutsus to stop your momentum, so that you can quickly change the direction of your attack.
