When used without a water technique, its power is moderate. The technique can be used extremely quickly, so that it finishes almost in conjunction with the previous jutsu.

Great technique to use in conjunction with a water technique. After you use a water technique, release a wave of lightning in order to electrocute the water. It's a very quick technique, so you'll in most of the times, be able to electrocute the water before the opponent defends against it.

Pretty self explanatory. If you don't have any shuriken I can lend you mine, of course. Focus your chakra into them and throw them. As you throw them it appears like they're connected with a lighting cord to your hands. Due to that, it will paralyze your opponent, which again helps you in taking advantage of your opponent.

Description: The user manipulating their chakra generates a plasma barrier around them to serve as a defence which protects them from incoming attacks, even from something as wide-ranged as the Quicksand Waterfall Flow however the user cannot use other techniques besides lightning release or physical based techniques. The user can rush at their opponents even if the barrier is active. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.
Note: Technique remains active for 3 turns.

Sweet technique. Generate an electric field around you that will serve as a wall barrier of sorts and that looks like a ball. It can protect your from all sides. It has the ability to protect you, you can have it active for three turns and you can even use the energy of the ball to send a lighting wave at your opponent, however then you'll end the effect of the plasma ball then.

After you gather chakra in your hands, release it and shape it into an orb and then have it float it mid air, from there it will rain lightning bolts on your enemy. However the range is short, so it's not very useful. Would be good to use if the opponent it already in mid air, trying to jump on you and perform a slash with his sword, or something like that.

(Raiton: Chidori) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds

Description: The user must first perform the following sequence of hand seals Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey and they create a lightning jutsu that is concentrated in the user's palm and thrusted toward the opponent at high speed. The lightning in the user's palm sounds like birds chirping, hence the name.
Note: Someone who mastered lightning release can perform chidori with just the Ox hand seal.

Chidori is considered to be one of the best lighting techniques because a lot of other techniques are derived from chidori. For this one I want you to throw in a few more words, don't be selfish. To perform it you have to perform the needed handseals and then channel a great amount of lightning into your hand. Keep gathering it and compressing to the point where it's so compressed that it bursts out of your hand and starts chirping, like a thousand of birds.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electrically charged chakra from their body. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it only paralyzes. The lightning can be channelled through metal objects, as well as spread out into the air or ground.

So, the principle is the same. You need to keep compressing the chakra and focusing on it's vibration until it bursts out of your whole body, not only your hand this time. As it bursts, it's unfocused and omnidirectional, thus used mostly to release from genjutsu because it disrupts your whole chakra system. Now, since it's unfocused it doesn't have any cutting nor piercing abilities thus it's not really effective against earth as the other lightning jutsus. It still paralyzes on contact though.

Description: After performing a small sequence of hand seals the user will place their hand on the ground converting their chakra in to lightning. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

Self explanatory. After you perform the handseals slam your lightning infused hand on the ground and release the lighting towards you opponent. Using shape manipulation shape it into an arrow-like figure that rips and shocks through the ground as it travels towards your opponent.

(Raiton: Chidori Senbon) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Needle

Description: The user reshapes the Chidori in their hand into the form of countless senbon. It has more specialized speed than the normal Chidori and can cause damage throughout multiple places on the body. Although it’s not stated, this technique probably takes on Chidori's characteristics such as its ability to cut through almost anything and numb parts of the body.

Since it's a variation of chidori, you don't need to post chidori first to use this technique because chidori is contained. However you need to perform the needed handseals for the chidori. Now, after you create a regular chidori you concentrate on it's shape by creating countless sharp senbon. Pretty self explanatory.

Description: The user increases the range of their Chidori by using form manipulation to extend it into a blade up to 10 meters in length. This blade is capable of splitting into multiple additional blades upon contact with an enemy, drastically increasing the number of wounds it can inflict. Like other Chidori-related techniques, this jutsu will numb its target upon contact.

Alright. Most important thing. You don't need to perform a chidori prior to this technique. Chidori is included. Now, using shape manipulation you just extend it and depending on the situation you can split it, to deal more damage. Questions?

*I begin by gathering up a portion of my lightning chakra. I channel the lightning chakra into my right hand. I mold the lightning chakra into lightning. I use shape manipulation to shape the form of a compressed ball of lightning. I release the energy all at once creating an explosion.*

Description: The user forms a whirling vortex of wind and electricity around themselves. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon’s head and will cover the area in front of them. Even if the attack doesn't directly connect with his foe, the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a nearby target.

A whirling wind vortex that has lightning bolts jumping out of it. Simple as that.

Chidori variation made up from several punches and kicks and then a chidori into your opponent's back.

(Chidori Tokkan) - One Thousand Birds Rush

Description: The user will first strike the target with a slash from their sword hitting them into the air and then as they begin to land the user will drive them into the ground with a Chidori.

Again a chidori variation, this time in conjunction with kenjutsu. Slash your opponent into the air and then slam them into the ground with your chidori.

No worries, we all get lazy every now and then

*I begin by gathering up my wind. I release out my wind chakra all around me. I mold the wind chakra into wind. Then using shape manipulation i form the wind into the shape of a dragon head. With the dragon head surrounding me a gather up and send my lightning chakra into the dragon head. I mold the lightning chakra into lightning, causing it to become a swirling vortex of wind and lightning*

*I begin by gathering up my lightning chakra. I then run up to a nearby boulder landing a straight jab from my left hand. I follow that up with a hook from my right hand. I then follow that up with a low kick with my left foot. Then to finish it off i uppercut the boulder into the sky. I then channel my lightning chakra into my right hand. I blaze though the handseals needed for chidori. I then mold the lightning chakra in my hand, thus erupting a chidori from my hand i hold it straight up letting the boulder fall onto the chidori.*

*I begin by gathering up a good amount of my lightning chakra. I then dash towards another boulder while drawing my sword. I reverse the hold on the sword so the tip is pointing at the ground. As i near the boulder i slash with the sword, my fist first heads the boulder followed by the sword that lifts the boulder into the air. AS the the boulder is sent flying i blze though the handseals like before and channel my lightning chara into my hand. I mold the lightning and erupt a chidori from my hand. As the boulder nears the ground i slam the chidori into the boulder slamming it into the ground.*
