Moving on

(Raigen Raikochu) – Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar
Rank: S
Type: Supplementaty
Range: Long
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: N/A
Description: After performing the following handseals Ram → Horse → Snake → Tiger the user will then create a blinding light that appears to emanate from the users body and blind the target/s.

(Raiton: Raiden) - Lightning Release: Lightning Chain
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description:This technique requires the user to firstly create a shadow clone, each of them then activate the Lightning Cutter on opposite hands to one another. Connecting the two techniques together, forming a chain of sorts, they are then able to use the resulting beam to slice through objects with great ease.
Note: Must first perform the shadow clone technique.

(Raiton: Chidori Shinsō) - One Thousand Birds True Spear
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description:The user starts off by dashing at his opponent with a Chidori in his hand. As they strikes his opponent, they uses shape manipulation to extend the Chidori into a lightning spear that impales and hurtles the opponent into the air. The user then increases the potency of the lightning, generating a powerful electric explosion at the end of the spear and sending the enemy back to the ground.
Note: Only the spear extention can reach up to mid range.

(Raigen Raikochu) – Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar

Hand seals are needed, you blind the person

(Raiton: Raiden) - Lightning Release: Lightning Chain

Will need to know shadow clone. Then both at the same time channel lightning chakra and create a link between you and you're clone. Attack the target and hit them with the linked chain.

(Raiton: Chidori Shinsō) - One Thousand Birds True Spear

Another chidori version. Description is quite clear

How to Attack: This jutsu doesn't require you to distract the opponent. All it requires is for the opponent to be looking at you. That is all.

How to Defend: If the opponent is making handseals to a jutsu and looking at you or is aiming shurikens at you or something like that, you can use this jutsu to temporarily blind him and prevent him from making the jutsu. Then you can either attack or retreat.

How to Counter: The opponent can't counter it if he is blinded. All he can do is not to look at the opponent next time.

Advantages It blinds the opponent so you have a chance to attack or retreat or set up a trap.

Disadvantages: None.

Combinations: After blinding the opponent, you could then use False dark spear to kill him.

Question: Are there any disadvantages to this jutsu?

How to Attack: Will need to know shadow clone. Then both at the same time channel lightning chakra and create a link between you and you're clone. Attack the target and hit them with the linked chain. First you will need to distract the opponent. You could use Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar to blind them and then make a clone and then do this jutsu.

How to Defend: Doesn't do much defending.

How to Counter: The opponent could kill the clone.

Advantages You can slice nearly anything.

Disadvantages: It requires a clone which eats away one move out your 3 moves. And if you're in the middle of running towards your opponent performing this jutsu, because on of your hand is occupied, you can't really defend against incoming attacks.

Combinations: You could use Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar

Question: None.

How to Attack: You could use Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar, then strike the opponent with it.

How to Defend: You can't defend with it.

How to Counter: The opponent would use a wind jutsu to counter this jutsu out if he/she wasn't distracted before hand.

Advantages Dead and really easy to use.

Disadvantages: Requires you to distract the opponent beforehand

Combinations: It's a combo itself.

Question: None.

@question not really unless they close thier eyes or simply shield their eyes

Raiton as you know, will have basically two types, just like fire. You have a stream version which connects to you, like for example chidori. These types have a clear disadvantage as it is connected to you. Water, if used right, you can hit them and electricute themselves. Which means when using something like a chidori, you must be close range or else there might be an opening for your opponent to take advantage of that.

I mention this as most of your "how to defend" portion is using a wind attack. However in battle, it is best to use something that you can do move in a single move, so you can set up or put pressure on your opponent with the remainding turn.

Wind is not bad, as you can negate and overpower. But if used water, you can always damage them and without it being weaker. Even with an elemental advantage that wind carries against lightning, it will always weaken if it straight on. Use it combination of water and wind is probably the best for a single no combinated raiton. Though situation will vary on what you can and can not do throughout a battle.

The method that you went over was a concept to teach you what and how these jutsu's work. I noticed every one of you're reply to defend was to use a wind technique. However since our training session started mid way, I wanted to sum it up here.

Always keep in mind, battling is not just posting jutsu. There are plenty of combinations that you could do given the right situation. I am not here to give you battle training, but in a sense this is one. Raiton has a faster rate of travel as you already know.

Do you have any questions thus far?
