.This is from scratch training so let's start with the basics by answering these questions:
- What is Lightning in the Narutoverse, it's strengths, weaknesses, which KG does it form (at least two but the more you say that's better for you) and how is it created?
- How do you experience Lightning?
- What are it's main abilities/characteristics?
- Some noteable Raiton users from the anime/manga?
well without looking for info i will tell you what i can and you can correct me. first kg which i know off hand are gale and storm release, gale would use lightning and i believe wind and storm release would use the elements lightning and water.
i believe lightning element is experienced by building up your chakra and changing the dishcarge of the nature which is lightning.
main ability's and characteristics imo would be that you can use it with blades and with ninjutsu as well such as lightning clones, lightning blade and other attacking and defensive ability's i feel that lightning is better suited for offensive killing but has been seen a little bit as defensive to. characteristic is that you have to build it up and then you can discharge it to suit the ability being use. note this is probly a poor example but thats why i am learning.

1.Gale and Storm Release are the same thing. Lightning is created by increasing the vibrations in ones chakra to the point where electricity is created. It's strong against Earth and most of it's variations while it's greatest weakness is Wind which isolates the electricity. It can be used in conjunction with water to increase it's damage and potency, or it can be channeled through metallic objects. It's not related to fire, though it can be used as a surprise attack if you use fire and then lightning. It's main uses are increasing the efficiency of weapons, then blinding the opponent with bright lights, sending bolts, spears and other things of lightning, beams etc. Many uses, very useful in some situations. Now I want you to increase the vibration of your chakra to the point where the electrons collide in such a manner that electricity is created. Then expell the chakra in the form of small bolts.

Con's looking at the range there are many counters to this jutsu using suiton to wet the ground near me would be beneficial against this jutsu.

Create an electric field around your body which serves as a armor of sorts. You can use this to eradicate weak Earth techs (D-C ranks, within reason) or to amplify your taijutsu moves. It does not boost your speed or strength.
I begin by building up my chakra, and proceed to release chakra from all of my chakra points increasing the vibration of the chakra as to discharge it and realizes I am now inside a electric based shroud of shield. While in the shield I pick up a near by rock and see if I can incase it in a lightning shield.
Pro's this tech as said work well against defending against D and C rank doton. Also for a self sacrifice move during war time I may grab my enemy and add water into the shield electrocuting both of us but eliminating an enemy for the good of a village.
Con's as I stated a hozuki bio would love for me to use this tech against them even a strong wind user.

Well I start by building up my chakra in my hand then proceed to increase to vibration. I point at a tree nearby and and hold my hand up and proceeds to release a wave of lightning bolts at the tree burning and crackling the tree leaving marks all up and down it.
Pro's of this jutsu is that again water can be added either first or simultaneously with this technique to increase its destructive power.
Con's require's aim even though it is probly a little widespread

i focus my chakra in the palms of my hands focusing to increase the vibrations and add shape as well to the technique making it as round as possible i discharge the chakra to nmake the lightning visible. as i am holding the electric ball in both hands i launch it towards a tree nearby leaving a hole i the tree.

pro's of this is that you can launch the jutsu. by adding a fire ball jutsu to the technique you could electrify the fire ball creating a burning electric attack. [shades of natsu's fire dragon lightning attacks]

The pro's part is wrong. You cannot electrify fire. You can release a fire technique and then release the lightning using the fire as cover.
I didn't want you to do a combo, sometimes we might do two or three jutsu at once, if they are short and simple. Do the second technique and then we continue.
I begin by focusing my chakra until I have enough built up then I begin manipulating it changing the vibrations making it vibrate. Then I manipulate the chakra around my body thus forming a nice electric shield capable of shielding me for small periods
