Alright, so you've had no prior training with Raiton, correct?
If so, please describe Lightning; both in the context of the Narutoverse as an element and in relation to the other elements, and as a phenomenon in the real world.

Lightning is a massive electrostatic discharge caused by unbalanced electric charges in the air . It takes place in conditions of low pressure and high voltage which causes nitrogen fixation to occur.
In the naruto world lightening is harnessed into fighting skills. Lightning is an affinity of the hidden cloud village. over the years lightning has proven to be destructive but in the right hands a powerful weapon. Because of the high frequency vibration of the users chakra lightning is formed and this causes piercing damage and it also has an advantage of its speed which is almost same with speed of light. Lightning can be infused into metal blades similarly like that of wind which allows the blade to pierce even faster and more dangerously.
Lightning is powerful against earth because it breaks the ground apart. However it is weaker against win because wind is its natural insulator. When combined with water it becomes more powerful since water is a good conductor of lightning .
That is pretty much all i know about this element

That was practically perfect, except for one thing. Lightning moves much, MUCH slower than the speed of light; and chakra lightning moves much slower than regular lightning.
Now, say we want to turn your chakra into the lightning element. Considering what we know from the Narutoverse, what properties do you need to focus on to do so?

Indeed. Lightning represents energy in it's most base form.
*Hands you a slip of chakra paper.*
Run your chakra through that, while trying to make your chakra vibrate at high speeds. If done right, the paper will crumple.

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra to create small bolts of lightning to attack their target.
Very simple. You just project your Raiton chakra forward, creating a small bullet of electricity.
Give it a go.
And...sorry to do this, but if you want to seek out another Sensei (though, I'd still require you drop training with me), I'd understand, as I don't think my response speed is going to increase.
