It's nothing very special. Why don't you just ask god and learn about this world of his that he created? Everything is on display right infront of us and we are always trying to find the hidden piece of gold under a rock. Learn about nature if you want to know about everything.
Because we keep reproducing and haven't been destroyed
Whatever you want so long as you are not violating another beings rights
Individual based: Some for love, some for money, some for knowledge, some just enjoy life, some enjoy helping others.
Humanity based: Improve the lively hood of the human race and respect each others rights more (respecting rights stops violence and crime).
????? Based: Humanity hasn't advanced this far yet, do not concern yourself yet.
Endgame? What endgame? Do you mean destructive forces began to triumph over creative forces? Endgame = destruction wins.
You've answered every question but one. My main question is as follows. What do you strive for?

Haha, I gave you a real answer, didn't I?
When I was in middle school, I was asked to write a speech for my graduation ceremony. There was this sycamore tree on campus that I really liked, so, unlike the other two people who were asked to write speeches, I wrote mine about that tree ^.^ I literally said "I have had the privilege of watching the sycamore tree outside of the play ground grow, from the time that I was in preschool up until this very day. And in a way, I've grown with that tree. A tree needs soil, water, and sunlight to grow properly. Similarly, I would not have made it this far with out my family, my friends, and God." (You'll have to understand, I went to Catholic School)

Anyways, that's my philosophy on life. We are not independent creatures. We need others to grow and to develop properly.
Yes, you have provided a very good answer. ^.^

I'm here for a reason...at least i want to think that. might as well make the best out of it.
I have no goals <.< >.> I'll worry about tomorrow tomorrow.
So being happy is your goal then? I hope that happens. ^.^

Protect our rights, find an awesome woman, reproduce, strip space of all its mineral wealth and get off this rock before something makes us go extinct.

The idea of strip mining the moon, draining all of the gas out of jupiter, and harvesting a sun (not ours) for its energy sounds soooooo amazing. Create artificial colonies or terraforming would be so much fun :D

So, you're a Real Rockin Rolla then?
This should really go in another thread, but do you honestly think we'll get outside of our cosmic neighborhood in our lifetime?

Might as well dream big so I don't run out of things to do XD

I believe by 2100 we will be on the moon and either looking to go further or beginning to use other planets as resource hubs.

Bunch of private space travel companies right now and by 2020 they will be sending people up regularly. By 2050 I think space travel will be like Intercontinental travel by plane in the early 1900's

Writing helps keep one quite busy at times.
That seems reasonable enough. Have you heard of that asteroid mining project? I've forgotten what they've named it. >.<

Coding does as well :D

Yeah I have heard of it. If they want to mine an asteroid they better pick a large one because mines here on earth can be miles in size quite easily. It need to be a metal asteroid as well or else they will get a bunch of useless rock. If it doesn't have large amounts of metal then it won't be worth it and if it is merely iron it won't be economically viable.

Sending the materials to Earth would be very difficult and costly without dropping the whole asteroid somewhere. They need a processing center somewhere, presumably the moon, if they want to be able to harvest the mineral wealth at a decent cost. Really we need better forms of propulsion and better methods of launching objects into space as weight is a HUGE constraint right now. I think it costs $100,000 per pound to launch into space right now.

Makes me imagine people attaching giant rockets to asteroids and crash landing them on the moon. XD

Well my friend, this is something you have to cope with on your own, just like everyone else. In the end, you'll just end up like the rest so don't stress yourself too much over it.

To help as many people as I can, in whatever way I can. I don't think I'm happy unless I'm helping someone or loving someone at any moment or remembering someone I love. Hopefully I will always be happy :)

Don't come with this 'humans are so bad they kill each other and abuse nature' stuff. You are also using the internet and modern convenience stuff.
You put those words in my mouth ;p
I only mentioned a fact. And I'm talking about humankind' managed society as a whole..It's not fair to dismiss one's words (mine in this case) with the fact I'm also participating in this society. I didn't have a choice nor the power to change it. And that counts for most of us.
