My name is Kayame Kuriyami, I live in the village hidden in the night. I am the princess of the land,and everyone looks up to me.I dont get why,they just do i guess. I never wanted to be a princess because i dont want to marry some stuck up rich prince.But as much as i hated to admit..I had no choice...
One day as the night sky turned golden from the rising sun,a prince was on his way to my village. I never knew his name or what he even looked like, and he never saw or met me! But i guess that didnt stop him from coming to my village.. As the sky turned from golden to the brightness of day i started to get ready. I put on a white Kimono with a red cloth to hold it together. i put my long black hair up in to a ponytail and tied a red ribbon on it, my black bongs covered my forehead and my servents put makeup on me. Bright red lipstick and black eyeniner and eyeshadow to make my red eyes look even brighter. After i was ready i went to the garden to wait for this prince. The door opened and footsteps entered to garden. "Who are you?" I asked as i looked at the rosses surounding me. "My name is Irachi of the village hidden in the Flames."he stated sounding so proud. "Hmmm,I see.What is your buissness here?" I asked already knowing the answer."I wish for your hand in marrige Princess Kayame." he said walking closer to me. Without any hesitation i took control of his shadow so he could not take even a step closer to me. "h-huh?! W-What the?!" he stuttered. "i picked up a rose that was as red as blood and then turned to him. " Hmph.You think i would marry a stuck up prince like you? You know nothing about me! You knew me for what,10-20 minutes?! And you dare ask my hand in marrige?!" Saying those words to him made the rose turn jet black. "tsk your pathetic..Leave my village.." I said coldly then released his shadow and turned around. Before even to stop and think he walked over to me,turned me around and slaped me. "No one ever tells me I'm pathetic" he said looking at me with fear. I didnt cry nor say i was sorry for calling him pathetic. I just laughed at him. "Whats so funny you heartless bastard?!" "Oh nothing" i said looking into his eyes. "Thats what i thought!" He said starting to walk away. You think i would let you off that easy i thought to myself. I turned around and took control of his shadow. "Never slap me!" i told him then pirced my shadows through his body. "Servents.!" I called out. "Yes Kayame-sama?" they asked formal as can be. "please do your best to clean up this mess. His blood has such a bad stench,it may kill the flowers." "Hai Princess. We shall" they replied, "Oh, and servents one more thing.If you need me i will be by the waterfall" I said then disapeared.
As i was at the waterfall i watched at the bright sky turned into the night sky."Hmm,Its getting late. I should go back to the village." i told myself then started to walk back. As i was walking back i heared the trees shake. I stopped and listened. "who's there? Show yourself!" I shouted, then turned to see a figure come out from the shadows. My eyes widened in shock. A boy with dark black hair and beautiful yellow eyes that sparkled when the moonlight hit them came out and stood infront of me. "P-Princess Kayame?! W-What are you doing here?!" The mysterious boy asked "Oh, Umm well i was by the waterfall for awhile and was walking back to the village." I replied looking into his eyes. "Oh i see well allow me to walk you back to the village Kayame-sama." "Umm Okay sure." i replied with a slight blush on my face. We soon reached the village and he walked me to my temple. "Here we are Princess." He said " Thank you very much." I replied grateful. As he started to walk i shouted and asked "What is you name?!" "My name?" the boy questioned. "my name is Akito." he said turning to stare at me. "A-Akito?" I asked. He let out a small grin and turned back around. "Yes.My name is Akito.Farewell Princess we will me again" he replied then took off into the night.
The next day i never thought about anything but that boy named Akito. He was kind yet masculant.
I slowly started to drift off into space thinking about his beautiful eyes."Kayame-sama" One of my servents called out snaping me out of my daydream. "Yes? What is it?" i asked walking to my mirror. "You have a Visitor, a male to be exact." She said getting one of my dresses from my closet.
Could it be him? I thought,Could it be Akito that was wainting down stairs? i thought to myself. "hmm I see thank you.Please tell our guest that i will be down shortly." I replied putting on my white dress."Yes Kayame-sama" My servent replied then walked out of the room and down the stairs.Before going down to meet the guest i looked in the mirror to see how i looked. "good okay" i said then walked down the stairs. "Servents." i shouted half way down the stairs. "Please bring our guest to the garden." i said then made my way to the garden.I sat under a Sakura tree wondering if this guest is really Akito. As i heared footsteps i snapped out of my deep thinking and turned to see who it was. A boy with silky gray hair and bark blue eyes entered to garden. i stood up from where i was sitting and turned to face him. My eyes widened in shock. H-he's not Akito.I said to myself. "I-It cant be." I stuttered while taking a step back. "Hello Kayame. Did you miss me?" the boy said takeing a step closer."H-H-Haku?!" I i stuttered shaking in rage.The boy who was my childhood friend and who killed the one i loved was standing right infront of me. "Kayame.It's been so long,10 years have past since we last saw eachother." Haku said alking closer to me. "I thought i told you never to come here again you stupid Mutt!!" I yelled backing up on the stone wall. "Hmm,you did.But i couldnt help it.I missed you too much,i was dying to come see you." He replied with a grin. "Why?!" I shouted "Why did you kill him?! Why did you kill Ookami?!"i screamed while hot tears fell from my face."Hmph.The reason is simple.I wanted to have you all to my self.I loved you with all my heart and he got in the way." he replied walking to me and putting his face inches from mine."I dont belive you!" i said then turned my head to the side. "Then allow me to prove it" Haku said lifting up my chin makin his lips inches closer.
No! i thought to myself then closed my eyes and pushed him away."Leave!" I said coldly."Kayame..But why?" he asked "if you dont leave right now i'll kill you!" i said with anger in my eyes. He let out a deep sigh"Fine.Nut I'll see you again soon.Kayame-chan!" then he vanished leaving a beautiful dark nidnight rose in his place. I picked it up and stared at it for awhile. "Haku..You were always like this even as kids" i said then disapeared.
