Life after death

Right well, Richard Dawkins said that there can be no life after death because its just DNA reproducing itself... But what do you guys think? Like what are your personal and religious views?

I heard from people who experienced death, that there's a kind of white light at the and, and in their case, there was someone standing in that light, who said it wasn't their time yet...

So yes, I believe there is something after death

If we are being literal I don't believe there is life after death, because I believe the connection between your life and your soul are two different things. When you die your soul moves on to something different, whether it is Heaven or Hell your soul has moved on even though you don't have life itself. Thats just my opinion. (hope that made sense)

I am Muslim, I believe in One God, Prophets, Angels and Demon, Holy book Quran as well.

How did the world Start ? Did it happened on its Own ? Everything in this world has a Creator. So does this world and we call it God. He made Humans and Animals and all the Life on this Planet and so Many other can be there that we don't know about.

Why has he created us ? Why has he made rules to be followed ? Are we here to pray ? When Millions of Angels are praying all the time. We are here to follow rules set by Him. than there is one Demon ( Ibless, Shaitaan ). He disobeyed GOD ( Long story Short ) He has challenged God that he will Corrupt Humans and God replied " Those who Love me and are Truly my followers than You won't be able to corrupt them ".

What will happen if we Follow Rules and What if we don't ? Everyone will be Given Heaven and Hell depending on their Behaviour. So there is afterlife where we will be shown our doings and result will depend on it.

Afterlife is eternal.

thread@ well I have been thinking about this a few times and heres what I cam up with.

..well a person has non substantial things like "ideas" right? They dont have a form...they just are..but where do they come from? I bet it comes from your soul.And your soul will still be alive when your "form" (a.k.a body) dies. So I bet you might still be able to think feel after death...just in a diffrent way.

And maybe there is a "something" that controls us in that form.God?


But like pesh said...no reason to think about it.Youll find out sooner then you think,because time flys by

I believe we all be reincarnated(spelling) into something else like a cow, chicken, horse etc. I always have my own opinion even though I'm a christian(spelling lol sad). I believe in the recarnation that some other religous have.

I believe there may be something after life. Science doesn't, and will never know everything there is to know. Not too long ago the earth was flat and the center of the universe, yet today we know thats not the case. Theres no telling what we'll know tomorrow. Perhaps the "afterlife" is just another universe our consciousness passes in to after our death.

As for the religions such as Christianity, Islam and Judaism, thats a different story. Is there a "God"? Perhaps. But I don't think he sees humans as importantly as we see ourselves. If a God does exist, my belief is that he sparked the big bang and let everything take its own course from there. And if there is a God then it raises the question of what created God? If the universe needed a creator, why doesn't the creator need a creator as well? But back to those three religions, I believe that most, if not all, of what is in their teachings are not to be taken literally as the word of God. I think most of it was written as a way of shaping society as the writers saw fit. Some of it is just plain false, other parts are stretched truths. But certain things such as views on homosexuality or women are clearly things put in by men who thought a certain way.
