Level restrictions on Summons

I apologise in advance if this is answered already or is in an obvious location that I have overlooked.

In regards to creating summons, do they have to be at a certain rank (for example is you summon a boss does it have to be S-rank jutsu?) and do you have to be the same rank or higher to summon them.
I already know you can sign/create at jounin but can you use S-rank summons at that level? In this case when I create a summon contract would that mean I wouldn't be able to use/create my boss summoning until I reach the appropriate level?

You decide the rank of your summonings, after all it are your custom summonings. It's up to you to decide whether you want to have your boss be an S-rank summoning or an A-B etc. rank summoning.

You can only use S-rank summonings from the moment you're an S-class ninja, no sooner. You shouldn't even be able to submit S-rank customs when you're of a lower rank, they would get declined. In the case it's still get approved you can't use it till you're of S-class rank.
