I think Full powered Pain is the Strongest, and im talking about all six of them fighting together with Nagato Hidden somewhere.i will not list anyone you haven't seen fight at all. and dnt name anyone who you havent seen in action.As of right now if there was a Naruto Draft i would take Pain in the first round.

Minato first round, simply because of his FTG, then Naruto my next choice, Then Madara, Then Pain
huh...i almost think your right. Pein is overpowered. He WAS NOT trying to kill Naruto, only capture him, and he seemed to fuk around with Naruto too much, had he gone all out I think he would have won. Grant it he was strong, but I think itachi would destroy him. His genjutsu alone would cripple pein, not to mention his other techniques. I would draft Itachi first, then Pein.

Yeah I'm goin with Pain on this one, just those crazy summons alone would pose a huge threat to the 1st and 4th
Just look at the Facts...who goes to the leaf Village and just blows it up..i think even if they had Jiraya and would still be an epic battle...they had to match Naruto with Pain, he was to strong so they had to make the main character win, just how they did with Itatchi...i would take Pain first round itatchi second and the Fourth Hokage the Third round

wait i though the rinnegan can actually see chakra if this is tru i dont think dat minato would stad a chance cuz in order 4 him to use tfg he would eather have to mark him or throw a kunai n supposable his special kunai has to have some kind of chakra in order 4 da tech to work wouldnt it
You may be getting somewhere..to be honest the only person i think that can give pain a good fight is the third Hokage in his prime...remember he fought the first & second Hokage including Oruchimaru, beating the two and sealing Orochimaru''s hands...and i kno some are going to say they were zombies but its still two very strong Ninjas vs one...put naruto in that situation, he gets beat
On your list i voted Itachi, and he is pretty much the only one that stands a chance.... His MS jutsu were epic, and he was a also i genius, a great tactician, and had battle experience.
Another person i think would win would be Madara, he's a freak.
And lastly the First Hokage, his wood stile was epic.

I think any of the top uchiha wouldnt win(Itatchi, Madara, or Sasuke)...Genjutsu is where they are the strongest and because all six of the Pain's eyes are connected it would be nearly impossible to beat all of them, and dont forget each pain has a different ability...I cant really speak on Madara tho beacuse he hasnt really shown anything but as of March 2011 lol Pain is Number 1 on my list..
who voted for Tsunade and explain please!!i only put her up there because i was running out of people to list, lets not forget she couldnt stop Pain from Destroying the Leaf Village and where was she when naruto was fighting him....oh yea on the verge of dying lol
