which language do you think that is harder to learn , to understand and to write? and why?

i apologize if u don't seem eager or interest for this thread... just asking something new... / random

for me is... japanese or is it chinese ? or german? idk

I've heard that Chinese and Japanese are hard to learn, but idk, cause i've never tried to.
However german really is hard to learn.

I'm currently taking Japanese. One of my teachers said that it's an easier language to learn. I always thought it was a tough one.

Japanese seems easy but it is also considered hard.

Well I know Spanish and English. I learned both around 5-6 and learned French before finishing high school. Now I wanna learn japanese........ I got time bwahahaha and I'm only 18.

Hardest language to learn is mandarin Chinese

It's not so hard...I learned it in about one month or so...not even learn I was just watching cartoons in german and I knew everything...

Having a non-phonetic written language makes asian languages harder.
The efforts to correct this through the introduction of a phonetic written language, such as pinyin, helps but there is still a lot of strict memorization.

For reading, I think hardest would be something in which you don't know the characters. In completely learning though, German has really hard grammar imo (been learning it for almost 9 years..i'm almost fluent now, but I remember how difficult it was initially).
