[Discussion] Lets talk about languages...

I wanna learn dutch and french tbh. I never really got into the little french classes I did have back in britain. I consider them quite hard for some reason, I will think hindi is quite hard to write, and japanese.

I can fluently speak english, hindi/urdu ( i can write urdu) and punjabi btw.

I would say Mandarin but my brother is fluent in it and it only took him 2-3 years. He's a very ambitious person though, so I do imagine that it is difficult.

I've also heard that English is a hard language to learn because it has so many exceptions to its own rules. However as a native English speaker, I can't really understand.

I've heard that Chinese and Japanese are hard to learn, but idk, cause i've never tried to.
However german really is hard to learn.

There's no such thing as " Chinese language "

well , english is kind of difficult to understand and to write , so... it's normal he feels that way. u hv to think what word u hv to say so that the person can understand and you hv a lot of words with the similar meaning , yet if you write wrong one thing the whole sentence might be an whole different thing that you expected to be and the person will understand it in a wrong way and so... you hv to do everything that you wanted to do all over again.

Wow :| tbh you can't learn german when watching TV or something. Gramma is hard, it has 4 cases. That's why Latin is also one of the hardest languages to learn

German isn't really as hard for me to learn as you people say, but maybe that's because I also speak Dutch.

If I had to say the hardest languages out there to learn (that I know of) would be.

1. Arabian
2. Any Asian language that doesn't use the alphabet
3. Polish
4. Whatever languages that they speak somewhere in and around Russia.

I can't imagine English is that hard to learn. English is the official world language. They wouldn't have a difficult language be the official language for the world.
