Ok but chakra most likely creates the hole.
I'm pretty sure minato uses chakra to warp himself, same with tobi, why would kakashi be the only one not using chakra to teleport shit?

The MS itself creates the hole. The chakra is what is used to create the technique.
Minato uses a reverse summoning type jutsu and summons himself, and has no need to expel chakra from outside his body.
Tobi does the same thing as Kakashi

The databook says the point of collapse is a type of barrier. For a barrier ninjutsu to work, it has to have chakra at the actual barrier.

Kakashi's MS funnels the chakra to the point that he wants to create the S/T barrier that sends what he is aiming for to another dimension. His chakra is at the point of collapse so if Preta Path absorbs the chakra that fuels that S/T barrier then the collapse will stop. Since it is ninjutsu that is how it works. It is impossible for the barrier to exist without chakra in it.

Preta Path absorbs all ninjutsu regardless of its nature
Ask Kishimoto and if its ninjutsu it can be absorbed maybe by absorbing the chakra inside the clone and making it disapear
Why didnt Nagato fly around the battlefield and use Gedo Mazo vs Naruto?
Its ninjutsu that should answer that question

This is a ninjutsu that has no nature. It alters reality itself. Unless there is another reality altering jutsu, then there is nothing that can affect it.
Even if the chakra exists at the point of collapse, how does Fūjutsu Kyūin absorb said chakra if Kamui is able to distort space and create a hole in Preta Paths's absorbtion barrier? Logically, there wouldn't be anything there to actually absorb Kamui.

His MS sends his chakra to create the barrier. The barrier has to be made of chakra in order to exist since it is a ninjutsu. Does fire ball jutsu not have chakra in the fire ball? Black panther not have chakra in the lighting? Was Kushina's chain barrier not made of chakra? Kamui is a S/T ninjutsu but a ninjutsu nonetheless so it works by the same basic principles.

It bends space and compresses it into the hole. before the target is completely closed off in the barrier nothing is really done except the visual distorting. That is why Deidara was still alive even the Kamui passed over his head. If what you say is true then Deidara's neck would have broken due to the distortion. The actual damage only comes when the barrier closes off its target.

It is a S/T barrier ninjutsu. Like Ama is a ninjutsu. Tsuku and KA are genjutsus. They actual eye is dojutsu, and the techniques granted by the MS fall into the respective categories.
Kamui works most likely like Tobis S/T jutsu. He creates a portal that transfer everything in another dimension. How can you absorb space? Space is the only thing that has a distortion here. It's as if you were saying that Preta could absorb Tobis S/T jutsu

The MS itself creates the barrier, not the chakra. He controls the barrier space with his MS depending on how much chakra he puts into it.
Those techniques has mass and expel chakra itself. Kamui's chakra is all in kakashi's MS
