Great job OP! This is a good analysis and at the moment, I don't think there's anything to add really. It goes to show that most powers in the manga are not the powers of 1 individually. You can't really use the "this power is cheap argument" (unless it's edo tensei in my book).

Why? All forms of acquiring jutsu is acceptable in the NV. At no point do you see anyone accusing someone of "cheating". Stolen powers are looked at way most Rpg universes look at nercomancy, no one likes it but you don't discount its effects. The highest honor goes to those who create something from nothing.

They are ninja after all, stealing from others is kinda their thing. So no matter how you brand a characters success..So what... really so what. Its all the same, and in NV the only thing that matters at the end of the day is that you are where you are, and not how you got there.

I was about to say this. I know people typically don't like listening to Sasuke fans but Itachi did state that he intended on Sasuke to inherit his eyes. Otherwise, he would have never placed KA in Naruto. If Itachi never said the whole eye ritual and Sasuke still took Itachi's eyes, then I'd agree that it could be considered stolen.

OT: Doesn't matter much to me. They are ninjas. Doesn't matter where power comes from if you ask me, this isn't some goody-goody two shoes school where you get expelled for cheating.

No one in the leaf can handle becoming the Nine tails fox host, they had to specifically bring Kushina, an uzumaki from another city to become the nine tails host. By this logic, Naruto inherited the Nine tails Fox from Mito > Kushina > Naruto.

Inheritance isn't the issue here, It's the fact that it's still itachi's eyes he has which in the end contradict Saskue fans saying that Sasuke doesn't have borrowed power.
