Eyes are not inherited, They stay with the dead. Sasuke Physically told obito to take itachi's eyes and transplant them into him, Thats not inheriting, thats called taking.

Great job OP! This is a good analysis and at the moment, I don't think there's anything to add really. It goes to show that most powers in the manga are not the powers of 1 individually. You can't really use the "this power is cheap argument" (unless it's edo tensei in my book).

Why? All forms of acquiring jutsu is acceptable in the NV. At no point do you see anyone accusing someone of "cheating". Stolen powers are looked at way most Rpg universes look at nercomancy, no one likes it but you don't discount its effects. The highest honor goes to those who create something from nothing.

They are ninja after all, stealing from others is kinda their thing. So no matter how you brand a characters success..So what... really so what. Its all the same, and in NV the only thing that matters at the end of the day is that you are where you are, and not how you got there.

The "stolen power" arugment is a dumb one used by various fanboys. Tecnically speaking, every shinobi "stole/received" power from the god tree. But, yeah I agree with the gist of the thread.
