If Kakashi didn't have such low chakra reserves he'd def. be able to defeat Itachi in part 2
Even so, in part 2 Itachi is suffering from near blindness/illness and it's stated that he was off his game ( being unable to dodge certain attacks, etc. ) it's hard to say for part 2 but kakashi can 100% keep up with him.

Nin, tai and genjutsu- Even before I saw the data book, I've always felt them ti be even in all these categories, with itachi obviously having an upper hand in genjutsu. If you take genjutsu out the picture, and these 2 battled with nin and taijutsu only, I think it would be a stalemate every time. You cannot tell me one is more analytical than the other.

Personality-Again, one in the same. They are both always cool, calm and collected no matter what. Some of thier opponents even find it intimdating. Niether will say much..they will just handle it like bosses.

Lives-Again, its hard to not stick these two side by side. Itachi was sick, forced to murder his own clan, had to abuse his younger brother for his own good which almost caused his whole reason for doing so useless and killed his parents.

Kakashis' father commited sucide, his best female friend and possibly (probably) lover killed herself on his own attack, he saw his friend get smashed by a boulder, went to his grave EVERY DAY only to find out he's aluve and is a nutcase hellbent on mind*ucking the world, lost his sensei, friend and writer if his favorite book ( j-man ) and his favorite student went rouge and went on a rampage.


There is only 1 difference between them- Kakashi will kill you the second he gets a chance and Itachi will beat you to within an inch of your life before leaving like your not even worth killing.


I think Itachi and Kakashi fans should call peace and shake hands because imo, they are alot alike and are bith great characters. Squash the beef!

Itachi was forced to murder his girlfriend, parents and entire family by a corrupt nutcase and had to watch his friend commit suicide. Kakashi had to kill Rin, then tried to murder a mostly helpless Obito before Naruto and even Minato told him off.

In terms of combat Kakashi has no answer for Susanno nor for Yata Mirror or Totsuka blade. He definitely can't move faster than Amaterasu. Kakashi never has nor will be top 10.

Itachi would be the clear victor, Kakashi's stamina has improved a little if anything, his spam of Kamui in the war arc was enhanced and and Kurama replenished his chakra more then once, Itachi is a pure blooded Uchiha whereas Kakashi is not and has the dojutus but not the blood itself flowing through his veins. Itachi's Genjutsu alone would break Kakashi, Susano'o would dismember Kakashi, Kamui won't work on Yata mirror and he can warp Susano'o if it is even possible, but Itachi can just summon it once more.

war arc kakashi at his prime takes it high difficulty. He can spam kamui without kurama's chakra and has knowledge of tsukuyomi, he has already had a counter for tsukuyomi in mind with his shadow clones. The moment Itachi tries to build up susano'o he gets warped. Kamui is faster than amaterasu so that is not an issue if they try to use it on each other.

Kakashi should have the advantage in cqc as well. By databook he is equal to itachi in base taijutsu but he can at least open one gate and with his raikiri varients he is very dangerous. He has very good reaction speed and he was able to blitz Obito so any speed advantage Itachi has (if there still is any) is negligible.

Ninjutsu goes to kakashi as well and by hype he excels far greater in this category. Itachi has faster handseals but Kakashi has been shown to be able to react to Itachi's techs and analyze the positions of his clones. Any genjutsu bar tsukuyomi is useless due to sharingan

However kakashi makes the genjutsu edge of itachi null and void after having learnt gai's method and using kage bunshins

I will agree they are both strong characters and each deserve respect, but Itachi will destroy kakashi at any given time. Kakashi was Hospitalized for how long just by looking at itachi. There is nothing in kakashis arsenal that he can do to counter tsukuymi, amaterasu, or susanoo. He can try Kamui but thatd drain him and if he misses he's done for :/ The scales just tip in favor of itachi every time :/ Thats the cold heart truth. Kakashis my ***** tho

-Itachi has clones as well. What do Kakashi's clones do against Yata, Totsuka, and the susanno itself? Why is that very relevant when Kakashi has used clones before and Itachi's dealt with them? Why do you think that Itachi would hold up his susanno and waste his chakra for no reason?

-Why is Tsukiyomi useless and how are you 100% sure that Itachi has no way of getting Kakashi to look at his eyes? Or even just pointing at him and while he's in that genjutsu injuring him or force him to look at his eyes?

-Because it's missed before. He attempted to use it on the Juubi's head...he got its arm instead. :/
He attempted to use it on a slow-moving Obito who was on life support by black zetsu...he couldn't warp it fast enough.
Also keep in mind that Kakashi hasn't fought every single second during this war. He's been on the sidelines for quite a while, received a chakra cloak from Naruto which aided in him spamming the tech, and even towards the beginning of the war got a chakra boost from Sakura.
