I agree with your response but i disagree with one part, he will die as a ''good'' person not as a villain. Trust me, madara has a trump card( which i think that trump card will be able to ''control'' obito for a limited time and he will use him to revive himself and yeah).

Do I want IT to take place? Yes. Would Obito winning be the most efficient? Well I don't see anyone else's plans working, so yes. But will it happen in the end? Probably not. I'm not sure if he'll be TNJ'ed, but something is going to defeat him.

There is one point to take note;

During the last war, Kakashi & Rin both believed Obito was very "Dead".
But Madara revived him and done something on Obito body; and
making Obito to believed Madara words TNJ.

After about 16 years later,
Kakashi had completed many mission, including learning many other type of jutsu.
Whereas, Obito just idling, so as not to let others knew about his true identity.
Also Obito did killed some of own team, so as not to hinder his true objective.
