Chapter 9 - The Rivals

Did you forgot the previous chapter? Re-read it!

In the deeps of the forest, lays the deadly swamp. One of the biggest in the world, and is the house of many. Either to live, or to die...
The legend says that is, aswell, the house of the 'Amazonas'. Althought its just a legend, they were said to be a tribe of women only, but ferocious warriors.
They have no mercy and deep hatred for man. But they're just a legend...

Presa and Fauno were watching from a near tree, laying at the shadow, while KB tried to explain the element to Kiwii.

Leopard Guru - Ok. As you probably noticed, your chakra is indeed from the Wind type. Try to release it on your hand. What do you feel?

Kiwii raised his hand and his face changed to pure suffer, as he tried to release his chakra.

Kiwii - Hum... I feel... pain?

Leopard Guru - Pain?! What do you mean by 'pain'?

Kiwii - Well, I concentrate hard and my face starts to blush, the veins of my neck dilate and I start to shake.

KB facepalms himself.

Leopard Guru - What the hell, Kiwii? I mean, when you release the chakra!

Kiwii - Oh! Right! Yes... I feel... air... Like a small breeze.

Leopard Guru -Yes, yes...

Kiwii - But then it turns into a small whirlwind.

Leopard Guru -Yes! Go on!

Kiwii - Like gas trying to escape...

Leopard Guru - Hum... What?

Kiwii farts. KB's face turns dark, with a scary Yamato's look. Then the eyebrow starts to shake, like Sakura when she wants to spank someone.

Oil eyes reached the majestic doors of the Upper Ring Temple. Surprizingly, there were no guards protecting the temple, with the exeption of two guys standing both sides of the door.
Strange... What happened?
He easily climbed the left wall, and entered the luxurious gardens of the frontyard. There were no guards there.

Voice - NO!

Oil Eyes jumped to a near bush. he looked everywhere, but the voice didn't seemed to be from someone around him. he tried to follow the direction and ended near a window.
He heard more voices and recognized the 3 elders among the voices. As he glanced to the room, he saw a magnificent chamber, with a huge table in the middle. There were multiple unknown natives, with rich clothing, sitting around it. The 3 elders were at the top of the table, leading the council.

1st Elder - Now it's not the time. We have to run the tests for the future Guru. We can't waste our time with a legend!

Tall Native - They're true! I saw one of them!

2nd Elder - Enough! They won't appear! These are stories we tell to our children to make them eat the meal!

Fat Native - I swear that's how my uncle Ned passed away! He didn't believe in flying cows, but then the crazy aunt Matilda decided to jump from the roof.

All the room looked at him. The Elders decided to ignore the last comment.

Muscular Native - Well, I find it hard to believe aswell. But we can't just ignore these stories. I suggest we reinforced the scout force.

2nd Elder - Impossible! The scout force is very dangerous. I wont put someone from other division in there, without any special trainning.

1st Elder - We wont make any moves until we get more evidences! Until then no more talk about the 'Potato Girls from the Evil Cornfield'!

(Just kidding, they were talking about the 'Amazonas')

Amazonas? Oil Eyes stepped away from the window and followed the path to the Temple's Library. Maybe they'll be powerfull allies.

Far away, Bianca sneezed 3 times.

Daki Kibe - Uh! Someone is talking about you! Maybe some handsome m...

Bianca stood up and smashed the chair with an huge hammer.

Nibalot - Shh, Daki! Don't use the M word around her!

Daki Kibe - Macarroni?

Bianca - MAN!

Poor Daki Kibe. She just wanted to eat some pasta... Read the next Chapter: Amazonas!
