Chapter 6: The First Elders Test[/size]
The Leopard Tribe is a small village in the beginning of a big rainforest, The sun country, in spite of beeing small, has a great variety of environments.
Kiwii, couldn't see any house or building. And the crowd all around him wasn't helping.
They soon reached their destination. They were in the middle of a meddow, surrounded by very tall tropical trees.
Kiwii - Where do they live?
KB - be patient, my pupil...
Kiwii - But there's nothing- Oh my...
In a blick of an eye, 6 huge stripes of orange silk unfolded from the highs. The stripes were decorated with tribal sketches. Followed by the fabrics, several man came down, from vines pending from the trees. They weren't as naked as the crowd bellow ( Not many persons ***** a tong or some kind of ornamentation. They most certainly didnt belong to the upper classes. ). These newcomers arrived wearing tongs and many, many necklasses made out of bones, wood, feathers, etc.
And then several drums rainned from the trees. Kiwii's first reaction was to help the people, but KB put his hand on his shoulder. The men looked up, to the drums, and released a mighty 'UHA!'. With similair gestures, and very well syncronized, they generated a wind gust that made the drums stop in mid air and then describe a spiral, as they softly landed on the ground in front of the recently arrived.
And so they started to beat on the drums, creating a raw, animalistic melody. Several voices, grave tones, joined the the art, filling Kiwii's with a beast inside him, screamming out loud. In a strong stomp, the raw music stopped and quick baps took over, they grew louder, as multiple tiny animals raised from our feets to our spirits. And then dancers arrived.
They appear from the forest behind the gaps left by the drummers. These women were dressed with long delicated vests, that flotted behind them, dancing aswell. The voices were now screamming 'Hake Hikko Hake' every now and then. The females started to describe exotic movements and by the 5th 'Hake', then created many tongues of fire and used them to make circles and spirals all around them. The voices were now singing a more complex song, aswell as the beats of the drums.
The feeling was engolfing Oily aswell. No one was immune to the song. But he had more important things to do. He needed to find somewhere to hide. And to live. And that place needed to be on the tribe. oily would be dead as soon as he could say 'I hope he's friendly' if he decided to explore the forest all by himself. No, he is ought to wait.
Suddenly, the music became more embracing, circling around the middle of the meddow. And the reason was the appearance of the 3 elders. They raised their hands and the song grew louder and louder until it endend, in a 'AH!'. The 3 elders, syncronyzed, generated a spinning wind gust around them and released it to the trees of the surroundings.
Oily couldnt believe the power of those three, because as they blasted the trees, all the houses appeared.
Oil Eyes - TREE HOUSES!
1st Elder - My Friends! We are here reunited to welcome Kiwii, the future Leopard Guru, to our homes!
The crowd and the drums cheered.
2st Elder - Kiwii passed on the first test, lets congratulate him!
And they did.
3rd Elder - But now he must rest, he made a long journey, and he still has to walk a longer one, until he's able to assume his destiny.
After this amazing ceremony, Kiwii was finally introduced to the tribe, and will continue his trainning. And Oily finnaly found a place to hide.
