Shinsuusenju can be countered with meteors and Perfect Susano'o, Madara can most likely perform all the other Mokuton techs Hashirama has outside of Sage Mode.

All Madara wanted is to become the So6P. The Rinnegan was missing for Madara in the past. But Hashirama knew everything about the So6P. He also identified that Madara forcing Obito to use Rinne Tensei. How Hashirama knew about the techniques of So6P? He never crossed his paths against a Rinnegan user in the past. So how? There's still lot more to be shown about what Younger Son left for the Senjus like the Elder son left the Uchiha tablet for the Uchihas.
