Legends of Evereve RP
Hello and welcome to my RP. It is mainly a free roam open world fantasy. You can create up to three separate persona if you choose and are only limited by the race you choose to be. Each race has its own strengths and weaknesses that'll be taken into account when you play.
Rules for Battles
1. Post by Post of course if your going against another person (but free combat if its part of your own story unless you ask for someone to be your combatant)
2. Magic limited by races, training recieved, and overall mental strength (the greater the spell strength the more mental energy it drains from you)
3. If you strike a killing blow on another player it has to be legit. There are no god kills.
4. Dodges are limited to the equipment you have. (i.e you wont be dogding much wearing plate armor compared to someone wearing cloth or leather. an exception to this would be any magical boosts you have applied.)
5. Healing is done through salves and magic. Healing can only be done once during battle but an infinite number of times afterwards
6. You can party up with other members if you so choose.
7. You cant dodge indefinitely. (i.e Attacks will land.)
Rules for RP
1. Skill is based off your backstory and amount of training you have recieved (i.e a distinguised knight would naturally be better than a farmer)
2. everyone can use magic but at different proficiency levels (i.e someone who has devoted their life to magic is stronger than someone who used a weapon but also knows magic)
3. character deaths can happen but only under the most extreme circumstances. (i.e after a lengthy battle someone delivers a fatal blow to another participant)
4. Traveling can take anywhere between three to five post to reach destination.
5. Only a grand priest can completely resurrect a person that has been killed and it can only happen once.
6. Creatures of the world can be tamed to use in combat not matter your race although race does apply to how easily you can train a creature. (i.e elves can train fairies easier than a human)
7. Special skills are things such as blacksmithing, tailoring, or guarding that you can do as a way to make money since everyone plays differently.
8. No controlling another players actions.
9. Major towns and Capitals once mentioned are considered canon so be sure to remember the names.
10. Half-lings have balanced properties of both their parents. (i.e a Lycan-Elf half-ling would have higher magical properties than a full-blooded lycan but wouldn't be as physically power in turn)
List of races:
Humans - Humans are a balanced race being able to become extremely proficient in one area or moderately successful in a multitude of areas. Their government in Monarchical. Capital City - Montheria
Elves - Elves are not as physically strong as the other races but balance their physical ineptitude with their prowess in magic and stealth. The government of the elves is Democratic. Capital City - Ellestrazia
Vampires - Among the strongest of races but during the day their physical abilities are on the same level as humans and although they require the blood of the living to live they rarely hunt other sentient races choosing mostly to prey on animals and livestock using their gift of flight. Only the bravest and strongest of vampires would have chance hunting one of the other races for food. Their magical abilities are not as strong as the elves but are rivaled by few other races. The vampires are ruled by a monarchy. Capital City - The Necropolis
Lycans - Physically they are seconded to only the orcs while in their humanoid form but surpassing them in their transformed state. Their magical aptitude is weak choosing to rely on their strength and ferocity in combat. A lycan like the vampire grows stronger at night and even more powerful during a full moon. The lycans have multiple packs scattered throughout the world with each pack having its on leader. Capital City - None
Orcs - Great physical strength and average magical aptitude. The orcs are savage creatures fueled by a primal rage and lead by their insightful shamans. Capital City - Orcgrimanthia
Dark Elves - A subspecies of elves that boasts greater physical strength than their distance ancestors but are corrupted by their own magic making spell casting a double-edged sword for them. Capital City - Netherstrom
Draklings - Humanoid dragons and the only other race gifted with flight and both high physical and magical strength but their size makes them easy targets. Like the lycans they don't have any set ruler and live in separate herds. Capital City - None
Half-lings - The offspring of two separate races carrying the genetic traits of both their parents.
