Every legend has a story. Every story has a begining. Every begining has an end, but we're not there yet. So, without further adue, the legend of Kirigakure's War Genius, Migualon J.J. ...
On a gloomy, overcast day in Kirigakure, like most others, Migualon and his squad of chuunin were out on a mission from the Mizukage, Yagura. While going towards the last known location of the defected Mist ninja, one of Migualon's chuunin began to talk to his jonin leader.
"Migualon-sensei," he said.
"Yeah, Misuto?" Mig replied.
"Did you hear about the Mizukage?"
"That's just a rumor, Mis, it's not true."
"But what if he is being controled!?" Misuto stopped on a tree branch, and the rest of his squad stopped on the next branch. "He could be sending us to an ambush right now!"
"Shut up, Misu," one of the other chuunin said. "Why would the Mizukage, or whoever may be controling him, want to kill off a group of chuunin?"
"Maybe it's not the chuunin they're after..." Everyone looked at Migualon, and he sighed.
"The mist is hypocritical; they persecute anyone with a Kekkei Genkai, yet they allow a jinchuriki to run the village, even though being a jinchuriki is basically having a Bloodline Limit."
"You're also one of the strongest members of the mist," Misuto said. "Maybe the Mizukage doesn't want you to overthrow him."
"My Kekkei Genkai isn't even mine; I stole it from a ninja I killed during a small war. That sensor ninja, Ao, isn't persecuted for his Byakugan, why should I be persecuted for my-"
"Sensei," the last chuunin on his squad said. "Let's just go and finish the mission." The last chuunin on Migualon's squad rarely spoke, and tended to replace conversation with beating an enemy ninja's face in with his bare hands.
"Alright, Chinmoku. Let's go, Misuto." Migualon turned on his heel and leapt away, his chuunin squad following close behind.
Migualon and his squad made their way through the forest, and eventually found a small tent near a fire.
"Do you think that's him?" Misuto asked.
"Only one way to find out..." Mig and his squad jumped down to the forest floor, and they came around the tent, everyone covering one wall, Misuto at the entrace flap, and Migualon at the back. Migualon held up three fingers, lowered one of them, and then another one, and before he lowered the last finger, he and his squad jumped on the tent.
As they jumped, a massive dragon of water errupted from the tent, sending them all flying backwards, only Migualon landing in a fighting position.
"GET UP, GUYS!" Migualon yelled at his squad, who all got up fairly quickly, except for Misuto, who got his foot caught in a large root.
"I'm stuck!" he yelled.
"Hiro, help Misuto! Chinmoku, you help me take this guy down!" Chinmoku nodded and the man inside the tent threw two full size katana's like kunai at the Mist ninja. Migualon grabbed the sword comming at him by the blade, and shot it back towards the assailant, while Chinmoku punched his sword, shattering the metal, and leaving only a small scratch on his fist.
"You two were sent by the Mizukage to capture me, weren't you?" the man said.
"Not quite..." Migualon began.
"We don't intend on capturing you!" Chinmoku finished, thrusthing his fist into the ground, upturning a massive line of earth that threw the run-away mist ninja into the air.
Migualon jumped into the air, and pounded the mist ninja nose into his skull, sending him back down. As the mist ninja landed, Misuto got his leg out.
"I'M OUT!" he yelled triumphantly.
"Great, more of 'em!" The run-away ninja made the tiger handseal and the blood from his nose gathered into a sphere before him.
"So he's a Kekkei Genkai user..." Migualon said.
"You'd think the blood mist village would be proud of a blood-style user," the man said, a deranged look in his eye. "BUT THEY AREN'T!!!" The blood shot out like senbon, piercing everything that wasn't right behind him.
Migualon activated his Kekkei Genkai, and avoided the senbon himself, but he wasn't fast enough to save his team, who were all covered with pin-point holes, all pouring blood for the blood-style user to manipulate.
"This isn't going to end well," Mig thought to himself. "I need to keep these guys safe!"
As the blood-style user tried to pull all the blood out of the chuunin, Migualon grabbed him by the cuff of the shirt, breaking his concentration and the jutsu.
"Try picking on someone your own size," he said.
"Those eyes...." the run-away said. "A prize of war, no doubt?"
"I only take prizes from those who's memory deserves to live; your blood will be spilled throughout this forest, never to be found again!" Migualon tried to punch the man in the face, but blood from his nose created a shield. But Mig's 2-tomoe Sharingan was fast enough to see it, and so he thrust his hand holding the man's shirt into his throat instead, causing the mans head to jerk forwards, hitting his blood shield, which was solid enough to draw more blood from his head.
"You can't fight this guy," Migualon thought. "The more yor hurt him, the more he has to fight with!"
Migualon jumped back and was about to let loose a fireball, when Misuto thought he was strong enough to help.
"Hidden Mist Jutsu!" The clearing in the forest was covered in a mist that blinded Migualon's Sharingan, and startled him so much that he lost focus on his fireball.
"Thanks, kid," the mist ninja said. "Later, losers!" As Migualon deactivated his Sharingan to see the darkened image a few feet from his face, the man leapt out of the clearing, disappearing in the mist.
"Misuto..." Mig said. "If you don't stop the jutsu right now, I'm going to kill you." The mist disappeared and the chuunin gathered around their sensei.
Migualon turned slowly to Misuto, and layed his hands on his shoulders. I don't mean to sound angry, but WHAT THE H3LL WERE YOU THINKING!?!?!?!?"
"I was trying to help!"
"By making it so no one could see anything? That let him get away. You're a great help, Misuto. I didn't want to kill that guy anyways; I just love it when the Mizukage want's to kill me."
Misuto hung his head. "I'm sorry, Migualon-sensei."
Mig sighed. "It's fine; I'll take the Mizukage's wrath, you guys just try and not get yourselves killed, alright?"
"Oi, Migualon-sensei!" his squad said in unison. Mig began a walk, and then took off at a run, and leapt into the trees to return to the village, his chuunin following close behind.
"WHAT!?!?!?" The scream of outrage could be heard throughout the village from the Mizukage's mansion.
"My deepest apologies, Mizukage-sama," Migualon said, on one knee, his right hand over his heart as he reported the failier of his mission to the Mizukage. "It is entirely my fault; I put my team's safety before the mission."
"I don't believe you, Migualon J.J." Mizukage Yagura said.
"What? He was about to kill my team, so I stoped one of his jutsu, and while I was doing that he-"
"STOP LIEING TO ME!" the Mizukage shouted, his eyes becoming that like his tailed beast. "The great Migualon J.J. doesn't fail missions-"
"I FAILED THIS ONE!" Mig yelled, his Sharingan activating.
"Migualon, you are a valuable part of this village; do not make me banish you. Tell me what really happened on your mission, and I'll-"
"I just told you what happened. I protected my team, and he got away."
"With your Sharingan?"
"He escaped with the Hidden Mist jutsu." "Not exactly a lie...." Mig thought to himself.
"Migualon J.J. For lieing to your Mizukage, I will have to banish you from the blood mist village."
"WHAT!?!?" Misuto yelled. "But I-"
"MISUTO!" Migualon yelled back, closing his eyes, but not turning to look at him. "I understand, Mizukage-sama."
"You have twenty-four hours until you're considered a missing ninja. And you know what happens to them..."
"Aye, Mizukage-sama. I'll take my leave now." Migualon stood up and left the Mizukage's office, his chuunin attempting to follow.
"Wait," the Mizukage said. "You three will be re-assigned to a new jonin-level sensei."
"Who is it?" Chinmoku asked.
"Before that, I'd like the real story of what happened....."
As Migualon packed up his stuff and walked towards the village gates for the last time, he was stopped by someone.
"Don't go, Mig. Come back home."
"I'm sorry, Mei, but I've been exiled by the Mizukage himself; I can't stay even if I wanted to."
"But you do, right?" Mei sped up and stopped Migualon dead in his tracks, her hands on his shoulders. "Tell me that you love me, Mig."
"I tell you that I love you all the time, Mei; if anything has changed, I'd let you know."
"I want to actually hear it one last time before you leave forever..."
Migualon looked Mei straight in the eyes and felt for the right words. "Mei Terumī, my love for you extends like the oceans around the Water Country; ever flowing and never ceasing. I speak the truth to you, never forget it." Mei embraced Migualon, who held her embrace for no more than a second, and then slipped out.
"I love you, Mig-" Mei realized that Migualon was no longer in her arms, and looked around to find that he wasn't there. A tear welled up in here eyes and fell to the ground, splashing off the saturated ground.
As Migualon made his way further to the gates, he was once again stopped by a man with an eye-patch.[/I]
"Yes, Ao?" he said. "Could you make this quick? I need to cover as much distance as possible in the next twenty-three and a half hours."
"So you were banished..." Ao said. "Before you go, I think there some truth to the rumor."
"What rumor-" Mig began, and then he remembered the rumor. "No, not you too, Ao!"
"Hey! I used my Byakugan to see the Mizukage's chakra, and something was off... When you looked at him with your Sharingan, didn't you see something odd?"
"How do you know-"
"Please, I know everything that goes on in the village. Didn't you?"
"There was something odd, but I assumed it was the tree-tails chakra trying to get out."
"It's like that all the time, Mig. Beware, I believe that he's being controled by an Uchiha; a true Uchiha."
"I'll keep that in mind. Thank you, Ao."
"I'll offer to be the sensor on the squad Mizukage-sama sends after you; lead them on a wild goose-chase."
"Thank you, Ao."
"The persecuted must stand together, right?"
"I'm more persecuted than you are."
"True, but if I don't stand up for you, who will?"
"Right now, no one."
"So long, Migualon." Mig shook hands with the sensor, Ao slipping an odd-looking kunai into his hand.
"What's this?" Mig asked.
"Just keep it on you; just in case. It's a special kunai, let's leave it at that."
"Alright. Farewell, Ao."
"Don't die on us, Mig. The mist village will need you soon enough..."
Mig took off with those last words.
"The mist village?" he thought. Even though they were not reffered to as the bloody mist village by others anymore, the villagers of Kirigakure still called themselves the bloody mist village on a regular basis. Only when they were speaking with people who weren't members of Kiri would they call themselves plainly the mist village.
"He must no longer think me part of the village so soon..." Migualon rationalized.
"We're telling the truth!" Hiro shouted at the Mizukage. "That's exactly what happened!"
"If you insist on defending a traitor, you must be treated as a traitor yourself..." Yagura thrust his staff just inches from Hiro's throat, the hook threatening to cut his throat. "You have one last chance to tell me the truth, kid."
"I. Did." The hook tore out Hiro's throat, and then Yagura stood meanicingly over the other two chuunin.
"You two will be re-assigned to a member of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, Zabuza Momochi. Are you arlight with that?"
"Yes, Mizukage-sama!" the chuunin said in unison.
"Good..." came a new voice from a dark corner. "Because I would've had to kill you if you weren't alright with it..." Zabuza walked out and gestured with his sword out the door. "Let's go, kiddies."
Migualon ran through the forests surrounding Kirigakure, trying to get himself away from the village so hunter-nins couldn't find him. As he ran, he replayed his life with Mei in his head.
"Mig, hunny, you've been working too hard, lately."
"I work hard to keep the village safe; to keep you safe."
"If I needed to, I could keep myself safe, you know."
"I work as hard as I do so you don't have to. I work hard because I love you, Mei."
"I love you too, Mig."
They were about to kiss in his memory, when Migualon saw something odd.
A man in a mask was speaking with someone else who had his back turned to Migualon. As Mig moves closer, trying not to be noticed, he noticed that the man with his back turned was the ninja he was searching for that same day just barely and hour earlier.
"Maybe I can kill you and go back to the village," Migualon whispered to himself. But appearantly he was heard.
The man in the mask pointed at Mig, and the other man turned around, the masked mystery man disappearing in a spiral.
"You again!" the man yelled. He turned to look for his missing companion, and then turned back right before Migualon punched him in the face.
"I'm going to kill you, and then I'm going to return to my village with your carcass on my back!"
"What happened to 'you're not good enough to be a troph'-" Several teeth fell out of the mans mouth as Migualon punched him, and then he leapt back and incinerated him with a fireball. Blood spewed everywhere, enfused with chakra, but still doing nothing to stop the flames. The man was soon burnt to a crisp, and Mig hauled him onto his shoulders.
"Let's go back to Kiri, alright buddy?" Migualon began to take the burnt missing-nin back tot he village he was exiled from, when his Sharingan picked up Ao's Byakugan.
"Tenty-four hours my @$$!" he thought to himself. Mig ran away from Ao, but Ao just followed him. Eventually, Mig decided that he wasn't going to keep running, as Ao was the only ninja after him.
"What do you want?" Mig whispered from a tree.
"This is important, Mig. Very important."
After speaking with Ao for a while, Mig heard about what happened with Zabuza and the Mizukage.
"WHAT!?!? Zabuza tried to kill him and then ran!?!?"
"Yeah, he left with one of the surviving Yuki clan-members-"
"A Kekkei Genkai user, Ice-style; I've memorized every clan with a Kekkei Genkai, and nearly everyone with a Kekkei Genkai special to just them," Mig added as to try and not wierd Ao out.
"Right. But, Zabuza was assigned two of your chuunin before he did this."
"What!?" Migualon was on his feet, ready to sprint back to the village to protect his squad.
"Calm, Mig. Zabuza's gone, and none of them have fatal injuries."
"That's go-"
"Let me finish." Migualon gulped and nodded for Ao to continue. "The good news is Misuto is fine. The bad news is Hiro was killed by Yagura while defending you."
Migualon sat in silence for a while. "And Chinmoku?"
"Chinmoku tried to protect the Mizukage when Zabuza tried to kill him. The Mizukage lives, barely, but Chinmoku..."
"Zabuza killed him, didn't he?"
"He did." Migualon clenched his hands into fists on his lap, and then stood up.
"Mig! You can't go back; even with the body, Mizukage-sama is just looking for reasons to kill people, he's not himself! He's being-"
"Controled, I know now."
"What makes you so sure now of all times?" Ao asked, genuinly confused.
"Yagura-sama is a master of his bijuu; if he was in danger, he would've called on it's power immediatly. He was on the verge of unleashing it when he was merely upset with me, so why wouldn't he use it against Zabuza? There's no way in heaven or hell Zabuza could've come close to scratching the turtles shell, none the less leave him for dead!"
"So that put's someone else in his mind, does it?"
Migualon layed the charred body of the missing-nin across Ao's shoulders. "Sure does." He got down in a postion ready to jump back into the trees, when Ao layed a hand on his shoulder.
"You can't go back to the village-"
"I'm not! I'm going to kill Zabuza and the Yuki clan-member; avenge Chinmoku. You're going to take the body back and make sure he knows that I killed him. When I'm done with Zabuza, I'll finish his job and kill the Mizukage!"
"What you're doing is risky, Mig. If it fails-"
"I'm already wanted by the Mizukage; he's either going to have me killed, or I'm going to have him killed, those are my options, and the latter sounds more appealing."
"Well, you're going to have to find Zabuza first, you know."
"I'll hunt him down and-"
"No need." The dual dojutsu allowed Ao and Migualon to avoid Zabuza's beheader. "The hunter has become the hunted." A young boy wearing a hunter-nin mask leapt down next to Zabuza.
"That's the Yuki," Ao said.
"Good, now go, Ao! I need you to do what I've asked you!"
"Are you sure you can take these guys?"
"Please, they're push-overs!"
"PUSH-OVERS!?!?" Zabuza ran at Migualon and Ao and tried to decapitate both of them, Ao disappearing from sight, and Migualon ducking down, and sticking his leg up into the hole in Zabuza's sword, doing a backflip to pull the sword from his hands.
"Now what, push-over?" Slates of ice rose from the ground, creating an igloo-like dome around Zabuza and Migualon. In each of the mirrors was the Yuki boy's image.
"Now this," he said. He leapt out of every mirror and threw senbon made of ice towards the two inside the dome, the needles melting before they made contact with Zabuza, Migualon not being so lucky.
"You're screwed, kid," Zabuza said, the water around his feet rising into a sword which then tried to cut Migualon, who dodged it thanks to his Sharingan.
"Your Kekkei Genkai is no match for mine," the Yuki said.
"These two are stronger than I thought," Migualon thought, ice needles sticking out of his body at odd angles. "He moves too fast for me to see..."
"You use the Sharingan," Zabuza said. "And to a high degree, I might add, but you're obviously of the mist; care to explain? I thought a dojutsu user couldn't control the eyes from a transplant."
"These eyes were deactive when they were implanted, and so when I focused chakra into them, I could activate my Sharingan. I'm a psudo-Uchiha."
"I see..." the Yuki said, and then he jumped around and shot ice needles again, impaling Migualon even more.
"Just give up, kid. We're going to kill you, may as well not even put up a fight!" Zabuza loomed over Migualon, and pushed him over to retrieve his sword.
"Hey, Yuki!"
"My name's Haku."
"Whatever. Remember when I said I was a psudo-Uchiha?" Mig began to make handseals.
"Yeah..."
"That's not solely because of my Sharingan." Migualon let loose a burst of heat from his mouth, melting the ice at a rapid rate. Even with the chakra reconstructing the mirrors as it melted, the intense heat melted the ice faster than it could freeze. Zabuza had stuck his sword into the ground and put up a water wall before it, but the water evaporated and even the beheader's edge began to liquify slightly. Then the flames stopped, but Mig didn't.
He ran at Zabuza and kicked the siering hot metal blade at it's wielder, causing Zabuza to leap back in pain, just outside of the dome as it recontructed itself.
"When this ice melts, it just refreezes all over again," Haku said.
"You just won't give up, will you?"
"Never. I'll kill anyone to protect Zabuza-sama." Haku leapt out again, but this time Migualon swore the boy moved slower. Mig could dodge a few more of the senbon, not all, but it wasn't anywhere near as many as the boy threw.
"The more he does it, the more I can read his movements!" Migualon realized.
"How did you-?"
"I DARE YOU TO TRY THAT AGAIN!" Unable to resist a challenge, Haku leapt out again, throwing senbon at Migualon. Haku kept doing this, and Mig became more and more able to dodge the seemingly slower and slower attacks until there were no senbon stuck in his body at all.
"What's wrong with me!?" Haku shouted.
"Haku, are you alright!?" Zabuza said from outside the dome.
"He won't be," Migualon said. As Haku tried one last time with a burst of speed, Migualon used the Phoenix Flower Jutsu to take out every fake, and then the real Haku. The real one fell to the ground, hurt, and the ice dome melted away, to reveal Zabuza with his demon chakra cloak.
"Now you've done it, kid!"
"Ho, crap!" This demon Zabuza was faster than Haku, and Migualon's new 3-tomoe Sharingan could just barely keep up. After avoiding nearly every attack from this demon, Zabuza finally landed a hit on Migualon, disspelling him into smoke.
"Wha-" A chakra saber pierced Zabuza's chakra cloak from behind, and he fell next to Haku.
"You may have wanted to kill me, but I have more important things to attend to right now; you two took more time than I thought. But if I ever catch you two in the mist village again, I'll kill you both on the spot, got it!?"
Both Zabuza and Haku were too hurt and exhausted to respond, so Migualon just turned and leapt away, back to the village.
