Every legend has a story. Every story has a begining. Every story also has a beautiful woman. These are not normally the main characters. This story is the exception. So here is the legend of Iwagakure's Mind-Bending Beauty, Sindy Miyamoto.
Sindy and her brother, Raven, had just finished a mission and were sitting on top of the village gate. Iwakagure was knee-deep in Konoha blood, and the war didn't show any sign of slowing down. Sunagakure was even begining to get into the war, though it was uncertain which side they were on.
"Raven," Sindy said, turning to her brother.
"Yeah, Sin?"
"When will this war stop?"
Raven shifted on his perch up high on the gate. He looked his little sister in the eye.
"Listen, Sindy. This war will probably go on for a while now. But I won't let anyone come close to hurting you; no one will touch a hair on you're head, so long as I'm alive, got it? And I won't let myself die until I'm sure that you're safe."
Sindy moved closer to her brother and gave him a quick hug.
"Thank you," she said.
They sat up top the village gate for a while, watching the sun set on another war-bound day.
The next day, the Miyamoto siblings were called into the office of the Tsuchikage.
"Raven Miyamoto?" Oonoki asked.
"Yes, sir?"
"Who's this?"
"This is my sister, Sindy. We were both called here, right?"
"I called for the Miyamoto brothers; the jonin pair who stormed the Leaf Village single-handedly?"
"Ummm..., sir. I don't have a brother, and my sister and I have never stormed the Leaf Village single-handedly; no one has."
"No? Then that's your mission; infiltrate the Leaf Village, collect information on them, and kill as many ninja as you can find in the process."
"TSUCHIKAGE-SAMA!! Sindy isn't even a jonin yet."
"RAY!"
"S-jonin doesn't count, Sin."
"SIN! That's why I thought you were brothers. Well, anyways, I want you to get out there; I think the Leaf is planning an ambush on us."
"So why don't you just collect our ANBU and have them at the ready at every village gate?" Raven asked.
"I have done that, and I've put every jonin in the Stone Village on red alert-"
"I didn't hear about the red alert," Raven said.
The Tsuchikage glared at him. "But you're not a jonin; I didn't expect you to hear about it."
Raven face-palmed himself. "I AM a jonin!! My baby sister is-"
"So you are jonin. Then go infiltrate the Leaf Village!
"But Tsuchikage-"
"Just go, kids," an ANBU standing on the inside of the door to the Tsuchikage's office said. "He's hard to reason with."
"Can we at least get an escort?" Raven asked.
"You can tag along with a squad of higher-caliber jonin as far as Kusagakure; from there you're on your own."
"Now, go to your mission, youngin's!" the Tsuchikage said.
"Let's go, Sin."
"Alright, Ray."
Miyamoto siblings headed off for the village gates as soon as they left the Tsuchikage's office. There, they found five men standing in a group; two of them with ANBU masks set to the side of their heads, one of them wearing a hunter-nin mask concealing his face, and the other two with no signs of masks at all.
"Hey, we're here to accompany you guys to Kusagakure," Raven said.
The hunter-nin appeared to look Raven and Sindy over by turning his head around to look at them, before saying, "Not as back-up, I assume."
"HEY!" Sindy said, lunging forwards, being stopped by Raven's quick hand.
"Sin, just leave it."
"But honestly, are you two seriously comming with us?"
"Yes; we've been assigned by Tsuchikage-sama himself."
There was silence amoung the seven ninja as the five higher jonin all turned towards the Miyamoto's.
"Why are you comming?" One of the ANBU asked.
"We've been assigned to infiltrate the Leaf Village."
"So, suicide mission, eh?" one of the maskless ninja said. Sindy pushed Raven's hand out of the way and went to punch the ninja in the face, but the hunter-nin caught her fist before she hit anything.
"You two are going to die out there; fair warning."
Sindy pulled her hand back. "We're not going to die-!" The hunter-nin began to throw perfectly timmed and sequenced punches towards Sindy. Raven ran forwards to help her, but the ANBU held him back.
"HEY! Let me go!"
"Give it a second."
Sindy blocked and dodged most of the attacks, taking small blows here and there as the ninja's fists glance off of her. Then, the hunter-nin faked a punch, and threw a real one square to Sindy's nose.
"SINDY!" Raven pulled himself out of the ninja's grip, and tried to punch the hunter-nin in the back of the head, but he caught it without looking and then spun around, so he was holding Raven's arm behind him between his own shoulderblades. The hunter-nin pulled up on Raven's arm sharply, and Raven fell to the ground.
"I'm doing this for your own safety. Go home now; you'll die out there. The real world is a lot more unforgiving than I a-"
Before the hunter-nin finished his sentance, Sindy had pushed herself off of the ground, and ran towards the hunter-nin, punching him in the back of the head. The hunter-nin stumbled a bit, turning as he did so, and then ran at Sindy. As he ran over Raven, he grabbed the ninja's ankles, sending the hunter-nin to the ground. As he fell, Sindy kicked him in the mask, sending a spider-web crack growing from the point of impact.
"Not bad, guys," one of the maskless ninja said. "But when you meet an enemy, they won't go easy on you. Tesuto was just trying to give you enough that you would want to stay back."
"We were given direct orders from the Tsuchikage to do this," Sindy said. "So we're doing it!"
"If you haven't noticed, the Tsuchikage's a little senile..."
"That doesn't change his orders," Raven answered.
"Then lets go, kids. If you can keep up!" Tesuto pushed himself up with his arms, and pushed off for a fast lead with his legs, sending him flying out towards Kusagakure. The other four ninja followed almost instantly, and the Miyamoto's took a second to realize that they were going already, following up as quickly as they could.
As the six ninja caught up with Tesuto, stopped at the boarder of the earth country and the grass country, they also stopped.
"What is it, Tesuto?" one of the ANBU ninja, who had moved his mask onto his face, along with the other ANBU, asked.
"They're waiting for us," Tesuto answered. "I'm completely sure that if we go now, we'll be killed."
One of the maskless jonin closed his eyes, and formed the tiger handseal, going onto one knee.
"How do you know?" Sindy asked.
"There's a large group of Iwagakure ninja hiding around that ridge."
"He's right," the ninja said, standing up. "There's a large ammount of ninja waiting just on the other side of that ridge. But, we still have quite a fair ammount of ninja waiting in reserve close enough to strike them down. We should attack now; before he get's here."
"He?" Sindy asked.
"Really? I thought everyone was told about him," Raven said. "Minato Namikaze. He's-"
"The strongest ninja in the Leaf Village," Tesuto finished. "Even more powerful than the Hokage. Minato has a special technique, so dangerous and fatal, no one's told what it can do, and anyone who knows, is either dead, or the enemy."
"Even the tsuchikage doesn't know!?"
"Oonoki know's what it is, and what it's capable of, and that's why he won't tell anyone about it. All we know, is that if we see him, to run. And run FAST."
"Really? This Minato guys that powerful!?!?"
"There's only one upside..." Tesuto began.
"I once got close to him without dieing," the sensor ninja said.
"Taiseki is a sensor ninja," Tesuto explained. "He know's what Minato's chakra looks like, and he can tell us if Minato's near, or if he's comming-"
"I can only give split-second warnings to his comming, though. He's super-fast."
"Is he here, Taiseki?" Raven asked.
"I only take orders from the boss-"
"Taiseki, if someone askes you if Minato is near, you tell them; this isn't something we can play around with," Tesuto said, sternly.
"He's not here," Taiseki answered. "I say we begin the strike now."
"If we begin a strike, he'll hear about it sooner than we'd like," one of the ANBU ninja said.
"And we can't stay to be apart of it anyways," Raven said. "We have to leave you after this."
"You can't leave; Minato could be anywhere," Taiseki said. "I'm not needed here for a while, I can escort you to the Leaf Village safely-"
"TAISEKI!" Tesuto yelled, outraged.
"I can't just leave them; they'll die, and they are fellow Iwa ninja. I'll escort them; you four can stay."
"We'll go as well," both ANBU said, handing their masks off to the maskless ninja and Tesuto, so he could replace his cracked mask. Instead of replacing it, though, Tesuto merely placed the animal mask over his flat hunter-nin mask.
"Farwell," Tesuto said simply.
"Farwell, friend," the three higher jonin responded.
"I look forwards to seeing you again, Tesuto," Raven said.
"Leave, kid."
Raven and the other three left, but Sindy stayed back a bit to talk to Tesuto.
"Why are you like this?" she asked him.
"Like what?"
"Everyone treats you nice, and you just don't care about anything."
"My team has jsut left me to accompany two weak children to their suicide mission. I'm supposed to be overjoyed at this?"
Sindy turned around, keeping her head turned towards Tesuto.
"I'm sorry you feel that way, Tesuto. Hope you feel better soon." And with those last words, Sindy took off after the other ninja.
Sindy everntually caught up to the other five inside a forest.
"Where were you!?" Raven asked, as loud as he dared, should they be under survelince.
"I was talking to Tesuto," Sindy answered, somewhat saddened at how her brother asked it.
"Don't bother with him," one of the ANBU said. "He's a stick in the mud who's never heard of 'fun'. One day he'll wisen up and treat people he just meets with the proper respect."
"We should keep moving," Taiseki said, his eyes closed and his hands in the tiger seal. "There's been ninja all over this forest, and there could still be more."
"Then let's go."
The five ninja kept moving through the forest. After quite some time of traveling, Taiseki stopped them.
"There's chakra down on the forest floor. Not very strong, though; children. But one of them's unmistakable; Uchiha." Taiseki closed his eyes and formed the seal. "There's another with them... And they're comming fast!"
"I'll take them," Raven said. "They're just children, right?"
"The Uchiha are elite," one of the ANBU said, putting his hand on Raven's shoulder, and cutting off Taiseki before he could say anything. "I've mastered the Shadow Clone jutsu; I can take care of them while you guys keep going forwards."
"Alright." Taiseki hid himself behind a tree, and waited for the kids to come within range to attack, and the other four ninja kept going.
"Will he be alright?" Sindy asked, looking over her shoulder as they kept going.
"Mahiru? Yeah, he'll be fine," the other ANBU said.
"But perhaps we should just wait for him a bit..." Taiseki said cautiously.
"Alright," the other three said. The four ninja sat in waiting, for a whole day.
"These kids must be stronger than we gave them credit for, eh Taiseki?" Raven said.
"Well, the one was an Uchiha; they're all elite ninja," Taiseki answered. Then he looked around, and leaned in close to Raven. "There's something you should know, but Kakko and Sindy can't know, got it?"
"Why can't Kakko and Sindy know?" Raven asked.
"Kakko can't know, because I need his full trust for the plan I've been forming-"
"And you can only get his full trust by lieing to him?"
"When it comes to this, yes. And Sindy can't know, because I don't want her worrying."
"Worrying? About what? Whatever it is, I'll protect her until my death! I don't care if it's-"
"I hope you're about to say 'Minato'." The two shinobi sat in uncomferatable silence for a little while.
"Minato was with them?" Raven finally said, leaning back away from Taiseki.
"He was; there were three kids, one of them an Uchiha, and a fourth member; Minato Namikaze. I'm guessing he was on a mission with his squad."
"You mean Minato's just an ordinary jonin!?!?"
"He refuses ANBU, and he hasn't been offered Hokage. Yet."
Raven looked down at his hands as he twirled a kunai.
"You're planning to take him out, but you need Kakko, and you don't think he'll help you if he know's what he's doing, eh?"
"Yup."
"And you don't want Sindy worrying because you two'll take care of him."
"Right. You're not going to freak out, now, are you?"
"Of course not; freaking out would put me on suspicion, and Sindy never stops asking until she hears what she wants, and that would put her in danger."
"Good boy."
"We're back!" Sindy said.
"Too bad Mahiru isn't back from his scouting mission ye-."
Taiseki's hands almost instantly went into the tiger handseal, and his eyes snapped shut.
"Here they come!"
"All of them?" Raven asked.
"Three kids, yup," Taiseki responded. "You two keep going, Kakko and I will take care of what Mahiru failed at."
"They're kids," Kakko said. "And he had them outnumbered easily!"
"Just go, guys; we'll catch up."
"C'mon, Sin."
Raven took his little sister with him away from the ninja, and left them to fight the three kids.
While the five ninja went their own way, Tesuto lead the charge on the Leaf ninja.
"KILL, OR BE KILLED!" the man in the serpent mask yelled from the midst of the Iwagakure battle lines.
"SIR!" came a cry from a man in a hound mask from the mid of a Konoha squad. A quick sword-slash cleared the squad, and Tesuto's remaining partner ran up to him.
"We're loosing men fast! We need a real plan!"
"Sacrifices must be made to obtain victory; simple as that..." As Tesuto said this, he was taken back to a conversation he had on his way to the battleground.
"Do you really believe that?" Sindy had asked him after he explained the same thing to her.
"I do, but your sacrifice on this mission won't help us at all, so you should just go home."
"I won't."
"Be stubborn and stay, see if I care-"
"That's not what I meant. I won't die."
Tesuto stared at the young S-jonin who was accompanying him deeper into the war, who claimed she would survive.
"Why do you think you'll survive, kid?" he asked, hoping for a simplistic, childish answer. He didn't get what he had expected.
"I won't die, because I'm needed. The village needs me, my friends need me, and most importantly, wheather he knows it or not, my brother needs me."
"How will that stop you from being killed."
"I won't let myself die. If something happens, I'll overcome the odds and survive for the people who need me! Because people care about me, I won't die; I can feel their love, and it let's me live on!"
"That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard."
"Then I'll just have to prove you're wrong. I'll bet my life that I will survive!"
Tesuto grunted, and Sindy fell back to talk to her brother. Tesuto thought to himself, "Stupid kid!"
"I hope you were on to something, kid," Tesuto thought.
"Don't die," he said.
"What, sir?" his partner asked.
"Don't call me sir, Patona; I'm your friend. Whatever you do, don't die."
"Is there something wrong with you si- friend?"
"Patona, listen to me. I don't want to you die; watever happens, survive."
"Ummm..."
"Patona, is it really that odd for me to care about someone other than myself?"
"Yes."
"Look at this." Tesuto held out his left hand. On his palm, were five symbols; four encircling the fifth. Each seal had the kanji for "Watch", and was surrounded by the kanji for "To activate upon death."
"What is it?" Patona asked.
"Each one of those four outer seals represent my team; you and your three partners. If any of you are hurt, the seal begins to fade. If you die, it fades completely."
"What about the last one?"
"That last one will not fade away until the other four are gone, and I'm dead. Once it fades away, any chakra left in my body will explode in a massive force all at once, and my body will disintigrate to nothing so our enemies can't find secrets through my body."
"I see..."
"Now, Patona, don't die. I care about you; my hand proves that."
"Alright, Tesuto. But what happens if I do die?'
"If you die? I'll kill you!"
Later that day, as Tesuto fought against the Leaf ninja, he kept glancing at his left hand. At one point in the battle, one of the seals flashed the word "Mahiru", and faded completely away, symbolizing that he died almost instantly.
"My teammate... If only I could've shared that girls thoughts with him."
The next day, Tesuto fought valiently, killing many Leaf ninja. This went on until an Iwagakure sensor gave some bad news.
"THERE'S ANOTHER ONE! And he appeared FAST!" This was a code. A very BAD code.
Every sensor ninja was told about Minato's ability to appear almost instantly anywhere by Taiseki. This gave everyone in Iwagakure a heads up when ever Minato would appear on the battlefield. After hearing the code, Tesuto and Patona, and several other ninja immediatly made their way to the make-shift base to talk over a stradegy.
"What'll we do?" one of the ninja asked.
"To sacrifice oneself for the greater good is what it means to be a ninja."
"What are you talking about?"
"Human sacrifice of the weak will bring about victory for the stronger."
"Do you really believe that?"
"I'll take care of Minato," Tesuto said.
"What!?" Patona said. "You're the type of person we need to protect! I should distract him!"
"No, Patona! I need to do it. It's time to prove my worth. If I die, I'll die a hero, saving the village. If I live, I'll be a greater hero."
"If you insist, Tesuto."
"I do."
Tesuto ran into the battlefield, rejoining the few Iwa ninja who had stayed out to keep the Leaf at bay, letting them know that he would "take care of it". When there was a golden flash, Tesuto dived to the side, and just missed a swirling blue ball of energy.
"You dodged it?" came a voice that was obviously from someone who knew he was in control.
Sindy and Raven watched as Obito killed Taiseki, and later as Kakashi killed Kakko. A group of Iwagakure ninja appeared in the forest, and prepared an assault on the two brats. As Raven watched the one kid fight them off, he was about to go after the girl when a bright flash of light appeared.
Tesuto and Minato fought hand-to-hand, Tesuto's katana against Minato's odd kunai.
"Why do you fight?" Minato asked him, as he threw the kunai towards the hunter-ninja.
Tesuto had soon learned that Minato teleported to where the kunai were, and so rolled away from the knife. "I fight for my comrads-" In the middle of his sentance, Tesuto noticed on his hand that Taiseki's seal was fading, and soon faded completely away.
"And whatever you're doing to them, I'll make you PAY!"
Tesuto lunged forwards with his katana, trying to impale Minato before he teleported to the kunai he threw earlier, which Tesuto had anticipated. The movement of his katana pulled a wire which ignited an explosion tag that was whipped into the air by the same wire, making it explode next to Minato's chest.
"I fight so that other's don't have to. I am the human sacrifice I believed in not so long ago. People gave their lives for me, and recently, I've decided it's my turn to sacrifice for others."
"That's a nice speach, kid," came Minato's voice from behind Tesuto. The smoke cleared and Minato was no longer standing where the tag had exploded. "It's too bad you'll have to die."
Tesuto span around, and a Rasengan shattered his sword, sending Tesuto flying with little damage to himself. Tesuto looked down at his hand, and Kakko's seal began to fade.
"I won't let him kill me!" Tesuto thought, with so much intensity, Minato appeared to react. Minato lunged at Tesuto, and struck him. But the kunai turned to stone, the petrification spreading and wouldn't turned Minato to stone had he not teleported away.
"You don't want to get too close to me, Minato. I will be the ninja who lived!" Tesuto glanced down at his hand and saw that Kakko's seal was gone.
"HE'LL PAY!!!"
Tesuto ran at Minato, his petrification jutsu active.
"I WILL AVENGE MY FRIENDS!!!"
Minato ran at Tesuto, a Rasengan in his hands.
"This is the end of the line."
Minato's Rasengan smashed Tesuto's animal mask, but before it got any further, Patona leapt int the way, taking the ball of energy for Tesuto. Patona's seal faded almost completely away, and Tesuto fell to his side.
"Patona!"
"The power of human sacrifice allows others to prosper. Kill Minato. For me." Patona fell to the ground, and his seal faded completely. Tesuto then stood up stiffly, and turned slowly to face Minato.
"Do you know why I fight the way I do? I fight, putting my life on the line for others, because of a little girl I met. She taught me how to care for others. I WON'T LET HER DOWN!!"
Tesuto ran at Minato, and Minato created a Rasengan. Tesuto scratched Minato's stomach, but was stopped dead cold when Minato's Rasengan met his face. At that moment, two signals were sent. One signal was sent to Minato about Kakashi fighting. The other signal was sent to Sindy by Tesuto's seal.
"Whoa," Sindy said, putting her hand to her head.
"What is it?" Raven asked.
Inside of Sindy's head, she was speaking with Tesuto.
"Sindy, I want to thank you," Tesuto said.
"Thank me?" Sindy answered.
"Yes. Thanks to you, I decided it was my turn to be the sacrifice, and now that we're speaking here, I must have done my job."
"Well... You're welcome."
"Don't die, Sindy. If you die, my attempt will have been in vain. You can accomplish your mission; I belive in you."
"Why such the drastic change of heart?"
"In the world of do or die, you do a lot, but you only die once. This was my way to make death count..."
The space inside Sindy's head faded away, jsut like the seals on Tesuto's hand, and Sindy returned to reality.
"Sindy, are you okay?" Raven said, shaking Sindy.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Looks like it was a good thing you didn't go after the girl."
Raven turned to see what she meant, and saw Minato killing every Iwagakure ninja who was trying to attack the remaining kid.
"Oh, crap!" Raven said. When the last Iwagakure ninja was dead, Minato placed two fingers on the ground.
"What's he doing?" Sindy whispered.
"There's still two more..." Raven and Sindy could just barely make out Minato saying.
"Let's go!" Raven whispered, and summoned a large Raven. The Raven circled once, and Raven grabbed it's leg with one hand, and Sindy's wrist with the other. The Raven lifted them off the ground, and took them deeper into the forest. Minato searched for the two he missed, used his tracking technique again, and found that they had left. He then picked up Kakashi, and lead Rin to a small clearing.
That night, after Kakashi had woken up and spoke with Minato, Minato had to leave for a midnight ambush. After the yellow flash brigntened the night, and disappeared, Raven spoke to his sister, who were both hiding behind a nearby tree.
"Okay, now's our chance to get our revenge. That kid with the white hair killed Kakko, and he has the Sharingan of the guy who killed Taiseki. If we kill him, they'll be avenged, and I will be able to go onto to invade the Leaf."
"How dangerous is it?" Sindy asked.
"I'm not sure, but the girl doesn't seem to fight, so if she tries to jump in, you can take her down."
"Got it!"
Raven sprinted out from his hiding spot, a kunai in his hand. He ran straight at Kakashi, but Kakashi blocked it with his broken White Chakra Saber.
"So there was an Iwagakure ninja waiting for us..."
"Waiting to avenge my comrads! You and the Uchiha killed Kakko and Taiseki; and now you'll pay!"
While preoccupying Kakashi's hands with the kunai, Raven punched Kakashi in the gut. By this time, Rin had turned around and began to run to Kakashi's side.
"KAKASHI!" she yelled.
"No you don't," Sindy thought. What happened next was something Sindy couldn't describe. Her body moved on it's own, like breathing, and her hands made a circle. She then shot chakra at the girl running towards Kakashi, and her body fell limp.
Sindy blinked a few times, trying to figure out what just happened.
"Where am I?" she thought. She looked down at her hands, and then around. She was standing in the middle of the clearing. She noticed the tree she was hiding behind, and saw herself lying on the ground.
"What the he-"
"RIN!" Kakashi yelled, sparring with Raven, motioning towards Sindy.
"I must be in that girl's body! But how?"
"Rin, NOW!" Sindy ran towards Kakashi.
"Yeah?"
Kakashi gave Sindy a stone-cold glare. "Help me!"
Sindy pretended to throw a punch towards Raven, getting close to him to whisper, "It's me. Don't worry."
As a confused Raven continued his hand-to-hand fight, Sindy, in the body of Rin, punched Kakashi in the face.
"Rin? What are you doing?"
"I'm not the person you think I am!" Sindy replied. She was about to pull out a kunai, when a wierd feeling came over her.
"What's going on!?" Rin yelled, from inside her own head.
"Shut up!" Sindy yelled back, still inside her head.
"No, let me back into my body!"
"This is my body, now!"
The mental form of Rin punched the mental form of Sindy, giving her a headache and weakening the jutus.
Rin put the kunai back, but Sindy strengthened the jutsu and pulled the kunai back out.
"Put that away!" Rin said, wrestling with Sindy in the mental space.
"No!"
"This jutsu just get's weaker as time goes on, you know," Rin said. "The longer I fight you, the stronger I get."
Sindy felt her chakra weakening in the girl's body, and thought up a plan.
She pushed herself away form Raven and Kakashi, and held her arms out wide.
"Raven, kill me!" she said.
"What!?" Kakashi and Raven said in unison. Kakashi tried to take this advantage where Raven was distracted to imbed a kunai into his head, but Raven ducked.
"Do it, NOW!"
From Raven's ducked position, he pushed off hard towards Rin, and imbed the kunai into her chest. As Raven leapt, Sindy let Rin completely take over her, and woke up behind the tree with a start in a cold sweat.
She ran out from behind the tree, and threw a kunai at Kakashi to keep him away from her brother.
"What's going on?" Kakashi said, as he dodged the kunai.
Rin clasped her hands around the kunai in her chest as Raven ran off after Kakshi.
"Sindy, stay back!" Raven said, as he spat a fireball towards Kakashi. Kakashi easily dodged the flames, and shot one back at Raven.
While Sindy watched this, she just barely dodged a kunai thrown by Rin.
"YOU!" she shouted, as she reconized Sindy as the one who took over her body.
"You're still alive!?" Sindy said. Rin then coughed up blood and doubled over, holding her wound.
"She's close enough, now get to safety, Sin!" Raven yelled.
"No! I'm going to help you!"
"Sindy-" Raven began, before he realized that he couldn't talk her out of it. Then, he just smirked as he skidded away from Kakashi, and finished his sentance. "Don't die."
"I won't!" Sindy ran towards Kakashi, and smashed the earth in front of her. The result was a trail of earth going towards Kakashi upturning itself, sending Kakashi into the air. As Kakashi landed, he formed the handseals for Chidori.
"This is his high-speed lightning jutsu!" Raven said. "With that eye, he doesn't have the tunnel vision Mahiru took advantage of."
Kakashi landed on the ground and disappeared with high speeds. A small raven hopped on the ground near Sindy.
"LOOK OUT!"
Lightning flarred right in front of Sindy's face, Kakashi's hand through some object. When Sindy looked closer, she saw it was Raven's body.
"RAVEN!!"
"My Raven subsitution..." Raven explained. "I won't let him hurt you. I won't let this guy get close to you!" Raven grabbed Kakashi's arm where it entered his chest. "Sindy, RUN!" But Sindy didn't run.
Sindy slowly walked around Raven, to Kakashi's back.
"My comrad for yours, little girl," Kakashi said.
"You killed my brother," Sindy said, expressionless. "You'll pay for that."
"Sindy..." Raven said as his eyes, began to loose all expression. With a dead expression on his face, Raven fell limp to the ground, Kakashi pulling his arm out of Raven's body and turning. As Kakashi turned, Sindy pulled out a kunai and left a large gash across Kakashi's face, cutting him though his mask.
"I'll give you a reason to wear that mask, kid!" she said. She then punched Kakashi in the stomach as he fell backwards, releasing chakra onto his chest, and plowing him into the earth.
"My brother for both of your lives. It's still not quite fair..." Sindy took Kakashi's kunai he was given from Minato as a prize of war, and picked up her brother's body.
"I'm sorry, Raven, that you had to die for me. I'm... sorry." A tear rolled down Sindy's cheek, and she headed back towards the Stone Village.
Every legend has a story. Every story has a main character. This main character may only have a few parts in the story, but impacts the whole thing intensly. This is one such story. The beautiful woman, the hero of the story, helped many people see her beliefs, and without this, the story is not. And that was the end of the true story, but her life didn't end there.
When Sindy returned home, she kept the kunai as a momento of her feats, along with Tesuto's hunter-nin mask. At Tesuto's funeral, Sindy saw on his left hand, the last seal in the center of his palm. It read "Sindy", and was surrouned by the words, "If you die before me... You won't."
Rin, who Sindy had left for dead, crept her way to Kakashi, and healed his injuries, to much protest from Kakashi, saying that Rin should heal herself. When Kakashi was completely healed, except for a permanent scar across his face where Sindy scratched him, Rin fell to the ground, completely exhausted. Kakashi felt her pulse, and cursed himself. He had failed Obito's last request; protect Rin.
The war ended soon after that day, and even though Iwagakure lost to Konoha, Sindy didn't care that much. She had gone onto the battlefield one last time; onto the last battlefield of the war. There, she met Minato Namikaze. In the midst of their fight, Minato questioned her.
"You seem familiar... Have we met?"
"I killed that boy and girl on your squad!"
"Kakashi's alive, but only because Rin gave her life to heal him. But that's not what I meant... The reason you fight is so simmilar to another ninja... A hunter-ninja of your village."
"Tesuto... He was my leader for a day; that day."
Sindy and Minato sparred at a training level for some while, long after all other ninja had retreated, before Minato said a fairwell.
"You remind me a lot of another... Aisuru Yamanka. You remind me

very much of her."
"I never knew my mother," Sindy replied.
"Well then," Minato stopped fighting, and Sindy kept her fighting stance, ready in case Minato was going to continue on the spot.
"What is your name, child?" Minato asked her.
"Sindy Miyamoto," she responded.
"Well, then. You are a very skilled ninja, and I believe that you are the key to peace. For that reason, I will let you live, Sindy Miyamoto, Iwagakure's Mind-Bending Beauty." And Minato disappeared in a golden flash.
