It kept me entertained and ecstatic for years. That's what purpose it serves. It has benefits. I don't see any benefits for weed.

Maybe for me it's more of a personal hatred. I hated when kids would try to get me to smoke every chance they got. I hated when my friends would ditch me to smoke weed. I hated it when my brother stole money from my dad to buy weed. So, my friend, that's why I think weed is unnecessary. I've never heard of Naruto-peer pressure. I've never heard of friends ditching each other to watch Naruto. I've never heard of a kid stealing money to buy the newest Naruto volume. Look bro, smoke all you want. I smoked the strongest weed in my city my first and only time trying weed , was absolutely blazed for days good times never again though ^_^

If making it legal benefits your country financially, is safe, moral and is wanted by the majority why not ,providing its postive? Problem with weed and other drugs is that non western countries can produce them naturally in their climate( especially plants) making it less profitable.

I say legalize. The pros outweigh the cons, especially when compared to the likes of tobacco and alcohol. As long as it's used within moderation, which is the case with most seemingly bad things, weed is great. I'm all for the idea of legalization

No, not really, not here. The problem in your anecdotes is not weed, but maybe your so-called friends and your brother, weed didnt point a "gun to their heads" and told them to do it.There is the good and the bad, you were just dealt a bad-hand, unlike me, it brought me closer to my brothers and i had good times smoking with my friends and others.
I didnt say or rather write that you wrote "naruto is a little kids' show", i inferred it, you implied it thou. And remember how Pain destroyed the village? What if someone did something like that because of naruto or other bad things based on the villains in the Naruto series. what have you been smoking OT- It's less harmful than smoking and as long as they're in their own homes doing it I don't care, as long as they're not outside where young kids are about then I don't see the harm.

For medicinal uses, yeah- should've been legalised ages ago.

But for personal use? I don't know, having an even larger portion of society a part of the gross drug culture is a scary thought. It's harmless directly of course but it's going to have indirect consequences, as most things do. The stereotype for drug culture and drug users is one that is actually incredibly accurate and I don't want the gross, bad-smelling, delinquent mentality spread any further. Also we're going to have more and more people 'stoned' and intoxicated in their day to day life, which is going to create much more accidents, less intelligent conversation and just a slightly less functional society.
