I get up, tucking away my hat and warm up a little, stretching my body. Taking a deep breath, I exhale out, beginning to start jogging.
Taijutsu, means Body Arts, which usually doesn't require the molding and manipulation of chakra. Albeit, chakra acts as a "fuel" burning the calories when performing physical attacks. Taijutsu simply means hand to hand combat. It doesn't have a set specific definition per se, since there are no pre-made jutsus or such. Taijutsu gives the user the freedom to use "freeform attacks", which means it is only limited to the user's imagination on what he can do, the possibilities are endless. However, it still follows the basic laws of physics. Strong Fist techniques like Rock's Lee's "Leaf Whirlwind" and so on, incorporate the usage of only the physical energy. Additionally, chakra can be used to boost the power of one's attacks, making them a lot stronger. Through extreme training, one can increase their body's raw power and stamina, to last longer in battle, as well as be stronger. The body has 8 limiters called gates which limit the usage of chakra for keeping the body safe from harm. Releasing the gates causes a high amount of chakra to be released at once, and the heart pumps at a higher and faster rate which increases the user's physical power and his speed. However, opening more and more gates can damage the user's body to a very high level for the cost of extreme physical power, the last Gate killing the user after it's usage. Even releasing the Gates require extreme training, which only Gai and Lee could release, respectively 8 gates and 6 gates, although Kakashi could release one gate maximum. Additionally, Ninjutsu can be combined with Taijutsu to make one's blows more powerful and destructive. A canon eg would be Raikage A's Lightning Armour, which is NinTaijutsu.
Leg Weights are a special set of extremely heavy weights worn on the ankles that make use of Fuuinjutsu and look light in appearance as seen in the manga. The user trains and moves like he would without the weights, getting used to the strapped weights. This increases the strength in the legs, as the user is applying more force to move. Once the weights are removed, the user becomes extremely fast, because of the sudden lack of extra gravitational force that was originally there because of the weights; i.e. his running speed is increased, but his movement speed, i.e. punches, kicks, etc are the same.
