Lee vs. Kiba (read first)

Alright so the match is between Rock Lee (base form) and Kiba Inuzuka (base form). Therefore none of the following are allowed.
- No using the gates
- No double headed wolf

I originally thought that this would be an auto pawn by Lee but than I got thinking, kiba has a few advantages. He has been shown to use ninja tools well (pills, traps, smoke bombs) whilst lee just uses his fist mostly. Kiba also has akamaru to create a 2 v 1 situation. Also Gatsuuga is a very fast jutsu, and kiba rapes lee in jutsu's overall (databook 3). With that said Lee has better taijutsu, stamina and speed (according to the databooks).

My 2 cents
I think if Kiba can set something up he has a shot at taking this (surprise surprise). But seriously, Lee can't really do anything if he is blinded by a smoke bomb, which would give kiba time to attack or lay traps. In a straight taijutsu match, Lee is better but akamaru is also there to back kiba up. With that said Lee also has the potential to speed blitz kiba. DISCUSS AWAY

Uhm why would u limit lee like that, is like saying ohk ( naruto vs sasuke bt no sharingan for sasuke!) bt evn then lee is said to hav a faster base speed than kiba, foretunately I dont have to flame you bcoz lee w/o weights is x10 faster than kiba!

Because I wanted it to be a base character fight. Lee and Kiba are similiar in that they are mainly taijutsu based characters. Plus if you give Lee gates he auto-rapes most of the konoha rookies, so this thread would be boring as hell.

I agree that lee with weights is way faster than Kiba but I have a question also. Has Lee taken his weights of since part 1? At the chuunin exams he was super fast because everyone else wasn't that fast. Now that everyone is older their base speed would have improved. Therefore when compared with shippuden characters would Lee (no weights) still seem as fast? Just a random thought. But I think this match comes down to whether you think Kiba's technical skill could out class lee's speed.

You limited the Gates but you should also have said Lee keeps his weights on.

Personally I think Lee takes with mid difficulty, but even if he gets pushed he can still take off his weights and blitz around like there's no tomorrow.

I'm thinking lee. If kiba sets up all that stuff you said, he has a good chance, but it seems a little brainy for him. Aside from the sakon/ukon fight where he was forced to flee, he tends to just charge straight in. In a straight forward taijutsu match, lee would kick his butt.
